Excellent restaurant. We had calamari and prawns as well as oysters to start followed by seafood platter. The food was delicious. The best crab we have tasted. The owners were very keen to ensure everything was just right. We would highly recommend and will definately be back. Annie & Cristina
What a lovely little gem we have found. Serving us was Huda who could not have been more attentive to our needs. We ordered oysters which were just as good as any we have had. Dressed crab was beautiful, green mussels delicious, clam chowder to die for. Joseph was a charm as a owner and hats off to the chef. A cheeky whisky sour to finish the eve looking over to the sea. Thank you for making our eve a joy. We will be spreading the word and will be back �����������
What can I say? I was craving crab and we decided to escape London for the afternoon and actually go near the seaside to find a restaurant and enjoy some sea air. We found this little unpretentious gem and while my husband enjoyed a lovely fish and chips, I had crab for starter followed by another starter of.... dressed crab. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal served by a very friendly man who told us they are planning to have a crab feast platter very soon (which will also include langoustines which I love). Will we be back?... without a doubt. And we might stay the weekend as they also have rooms upstairs and are in a perfect location opposite the seafront in the old town. And the icing on the cake was the bill: very very decent! What's not to love �
Oysters were as good as always, my friend and I had half a dozen each with a glass of wine to top the afternoon off ... little Gem of a place well done guys ��
We love this place. Good quality seafood at reasonable prices and very helpful, friendly service. Particularly recommend the prawns, calamari and fish cakes. Our new family favourite in Hastings.
Sat outside in the sunshine today with a sharing platter and a prosecco. It was wonderful! Service was great and the sharing platter was Excellent. Definitely stopping by again Joe and Graham, thank you 😊.
If you want good fish and seafood this is the place to eat. We were absolutely blown away with this place great food and drink along with lovely friendly service we will be back.
6 of us went here on our weekend away in Hastings! Lovely friendly staff, officiant service, great food with really reasonable prices too! I would definitely recommended this place for a traditional seaside meal :-)
The meals were fantastic I had a starter it was called loaded lettuce I throughly enjoyed that and for main meal I had the salmon salad I enjoyed that too my husband had calamari he throughly enjoyed that and he had the ranch burger and that was good too will be going back soon Thankyou Graham everything was great.��
The service was friendly and quick. The hot seafood platter was very tasty.

Had an amazing meal and experience here today. Fish and Chips was outstanding and the staff were kind and attentive. Best food I've had in ages. Fresh quality fish and the homemade tartre sauce was incredible! Can't wait to return. Thanks for a lovely lunch

Love this restaurant! Went twice in our 2-night stay in Hastings. Soft shell crab burger was my favorite. Special and yummy! Very welcoming and friendly staff!
Delightful little place. Delicious food and extensive menu with various home-made dishes too, the home made chips are incredible. Lovely creative menu for Right by the seaside in the old town, really cosy and authentic, I highly recommend!
Came here for lunch with my friend in the sun and loved the food here. We sat outside and had fresh oysters, mussels, prawns and a salad. Will definitely be coming back here again.

Nice decor, lovely people and great food. I recommend the soft shell crab burger. The little side salad was delicious as well, with the perfect dressing.
Loved the food I ordered smoked haddock in chesse and chive sauce with chips. It was amazing. Staff are very nice and the place is very cute.

It’s always hard when you go to the coast to find somewhere you won’t get t ripped off. Well this place certainly didn’t disappoint.
I had calamari and old Smokey which was amazing!!! My partner had a burger which he said was the best of the trip.
Very accommodating with our 5 month old. Only thing is if your in a rush just let them know service is good but just a little on the slow side.

Amazing staff, went there with my son who has autism and unfortunately went in to a full blown meltdown soon after we arrived. The staff were so helpful, offered us a different table and were generally so nice about the situation. We left shortly after but the staff kindly sent us with the wine we had bought and didn't charge for the kids drinks we had received. I can't wait to go back another day and hopefully get to try the food as it smelt fantastic.
Absolutely spot on food and service. Recommend the chowder. The mussels were amazing. Prawn skewers fab. Lovely sweet potato chips. You will not be disappointed. Definitely going back.
Definitely the best meal I had in 3 days in Hastings.
Food is really tasty, reasonably priced (comparing to a similar meal in London) and the staff was extremely helpful, informing us about every detail of the menu and we've never had to wait for anything too long.
Also, they played great music. Definitely will come back.

Just spent a wonderful evening at Taylors. We had six different tapas and everyone of them was delicious. We had a superb bottle of Malbec. Staff were lovely and wecoming and restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Could not fault this lovely little restaurant,. Will certainly be returning here again,
Had lunch at Taylor's today. Great selection on the menu. The fish & chips were delicious. The batter of the fish was crisp and delicate and not overly oily. Fish cooked to perfection. Great hand cut chips. The staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommend!
Four of us are at this restaurant recently. The welcome was good when we arrived, and the restaurant is nicely laid out with the tables a good distance apart. The menu is mainly seafood, as you might expect, with some surf and turf options. I had White Bait to start, followed by smoked haddock in cheese, both were delicious. My companions has a hot seafood sharing platter, which they said was lovely. Wine was reasonably priced at £14 for a bottle of Merlot. A few small touches would have made me give 5 stars rather than 4, a basket of good bread would have been nice, and we had to ask for crackers to go with the cheese. The final bill was very reasonable, so all said, well worth a visit.
