I haven't found a thing on the menu that I haven't loved yet and the staff are always so helpful! Always get a bargain book while I'm there too! Highly recommend, especially for a romantic meal for 2. Best prawn crackers and satay chicken starter around.

Amazing little restaurant. Booked ahead on WhatsApp business and were seated at the back in the crime section. Set menu £20, couple of choices for both starter and main. The food was fantastic. Would highly recommend the soup to start with. Would happily return again. Corkage £2 a head.

Literally a bookshop by day and a small Thai restaurant by night. Lovely food and friendly staff. Really nice ambience sitting at a small table among the floor to ceiling shelves full of books. Well worth a visit but they don't serve alcohol so take your own (£2 per person charge which seems very reasonable) and it is cash only.

Food: we loved everything. We have recently been to Thailand and this food was the same quality and in some cases better. We tried the mango salad and the minced pork 'salad' for starters, both great. For mains we ordered the tofu massaman and the curry with pork slices. Again both fantastic. The tofu massaman was absolutely amazing and I say that as a non vegan. £20 for a starter+main fixed menu which I think is a good price. (10% on top which I guess has become standard now...) Service: lovely & attentive waitress. We were found a table despite not having booked. Atmosphere: super cosy and unique. One of those places you really remember! We sat in the area at the back where it looks like a conservatory. It was raining and the sound of the rain tapping on the ceiling added to the general cosiness and warmth of the place. 100% recommend!

Absolutely incredible food in an incredibly quirky setting. Food was fresh and service was quick. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I'm a fussy eater and don't like spicy food so loved that I could choose how hot I wanted my meal, from mild, medium, hot or Thai hot. Couldn't fault a thing!

The best Thai I ever had!!! I had the mango salad (they can take off the prawns for vegetarians) and the tofu massaman curry- which is the house specility. They have a deal for starter + main and take cash only. It's good to book, as it gets busy. I luckily got a table on my own outside and the weather helped. Service was great! It's a 10 out of 10!

Wonderful meal here this week, Abby was a great waitress and very attentive. The food was absolutely fantastic, highly recommend. We were sat in the 'poetry' and 'politics' section. Also catered really well to gluten free and vegetarian diets.

Authentic Thai in the heart of old Hastings. Delicious entrees (I loved the little parcel of glutinous rice and the fried chilli to crumble into your dish) but found the mains over seasoned.

Amazing find. Brilliant service and tasty fresh food. Set menu £20, really good portion sizes. As it is made to order you can choose how spicy you want things and cut out elements withing readon, e.g. No fish sauce, egg. Space is limited so recommend booking. BYOB but soft drinks are served.

Ambience : 4/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Price: ££ A cute little bookshop turned into a Thai café. Run an owner by one of the most humble human beings in hastings according to me. He owner will welcome you by bowing towards you and every time she sees you off she does he same, she comes in and checks often on how he food is and makes things on special request if necessary. The staff is a small one and he one who waited on me was extremely sweet and welcoming as well. I can’t emphasise enough on how cozy and comfortable this cafe is. If you’re someone who loves books and Thai food trust me you have to come here! It would be a terrible if you missed this amazing spot with fantastic food. Moving towards the food: It starts off with the generous helping of prawn crackers with the homemade sweet sauce and a little tangy and sweet sauce, super fresh and not fishy smelling at all which I was happy about. For starters I ordered the mango salad and satay chicken, I can still taste that amazing sauce on my tongue , the peanut sauce was the perfect portion for the chicken and it was in a marinade so perfectly matched. For the mains I ordered the green Thai curry which was quite okay but I wouldn’t highly recommend it, I preferred the stir fry chicken with Thai basil and veggies which was yummy. Watch out for Pad Thai as it is super addictive to have, there is no such thing as just one bite, the meat is perfectly cooked the balance of the flavours was fantastic, I was impressed by this Pad Thai. For the dessert, I was initially quite skeptical about ordering anything but the sticky rice and mango, but they had a lemon tart with a simple homemade vanilla ice cream , I am someone who is quite weak in he knees for a good lemon tart, I kid you not, this was probably one of the best I’ve had from an Asian restaurant, it was bitter but the ice cream perfectly complimented it. I was just so thankful in that moment because it was too good to be true. I highly recommend this café. Pro tip- 1) as it’s a small café do make sure to call and make reservations as it might be hard to get a table otherwise. 2) they only accept cash and not cards Cheers.

We came here on our wedding day with our friends. We wanted somewhere quirky with good food and service. We were not disappointed. What a fantastic cafe, it is very cute, the food is authentic thai, presentation is lovely and the flavours in the dishes out of this world. Nothing was ever a problem, the staff were lovely and friendly. We even had photos of our Colin Caterpillar with indoor sparklers, cutting of the cake for our wedding lol. It was the most perfect evening, thank you so much for making it so special for us. We will definitely be back when we come to Hastings again.
