Been here twice now and loved it both times. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Food was amazing. They have specials board and a nice usual menu too. First time I went I tried the pie from the specials board which was great. The most recent time I had a Brie and bacon toastie followed by an amazing Biscoff cheesecake. Both were fantastic and left me wanting to come back again!

First time in Aroma cafe today. I had a delicious mushroom and spinach quiche with salad. It was really tasty and generous portion size. Great service too.

Lovely little café with excellent food and impeccable service. Stopped for breakfast while travelling from Woking to Seaford and so happy we did. Was in no rush so had Full English with tea followed by a Flat White and flapjack. Everything was just perfect in this hidden little gem, highly recommended.

Looking for somewhere to meet friends for brunch, I found Aroma Cafe & Kitchen through an online search. As we were a group of five, one of whom is disabled, I emailed to check suitability and whether we could reserve a table. Matt replied quickly, answered all my questions, and was very helpful, so I booked. The venue is spotless, and although small, there is still space between tables. Service was polite and prompt. Plenty of choice on the menu, including soup, quiche & pie of the day. Two of our party ordered the full English breakfast, but neither wanted mushrooms, so were offered hash browns instead. I ordered the pie of the day; chicken, spinach & feta (delicious). I was offered veg & saute potatoes, but opted for a bit of salad with honey & seed dressing. Everybody said their food was tasty, good quality, and plentiful. Tempted by the chilled display, I chose a strawberry & lemon posset (sooo good). The others chose various cakes, which were polished off to continuous "mmmm" sounds. There is an accessible toilet, although it may prove challenging to manoeuvre a wheelchair in and out due to the proximity of the counters. As we were leaving, Matt suggested we might try a Friday or Saturday evening next time. We all agreed Aroma Cafe and Kitchen was a gem of a find, and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

It's a great cafe. Staff are nice, good seating and good food. My only (small) gripe is it is quite expensive in comparison to the cafes in the area. £4 for a plain cheese toastie is a little dear, £7 for a slice of quiche (both being fairly cheaper at the surrounding cafes in Hassocks/ditchling). Either way, great place!

A trip from London to Clayton Wood for fathers day and decided to have a late breakfast at this lovely spot. An honest, friendly restaurant, amazing food and so welcoming a real treat for Father's day. A great find!!! - Thankyou

I often visit for lunch but I recently returned for another lovely Friday evening bistro experience with my husband. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, the food and service are amazing. So lovely to be able to walk somewhere and not have to worry about taxi's home etc. I would definitely recommend.

Stumbled across this fantastic new little cafe on their first day of opening! Amazing looking homemade cakes, with a coffee and walnut cake to die for! Had a great flat white and a delicious chicken pesto sandwich to take away. Brilliant to have gluten free options available as well. They sell ice creams too, so will be coming back with the kids in tow! The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Can’t wait until they can open fully to sit down in once restrictions are lifted! Fabulous addition to the village. :-)

My partner had surprised me with a 30th birthday celebration here last Saturday with close friends and family. On arrival we had Prosecco and delicious canapés followed by main and dessert. I have been here many times for lunch & dinner and the food is all homemade and of top quality. It’s a little gem of a place and that’s down to Matt & Nat. They’re so friendly and very welcoming and went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable evening. My favourite place to eat in hassocks!! Would highly recommend but on the safe side maybe book in advance as it gets booked up quickly. Thanks again to Matt & Nat for a wonderful evening!!!
