Very well organised with lots of stock. Disappointed that they stock parrots feather invasive pond weed. But they also stocked other native pond weed too that my newts leapt on straight away. In particular the water spearmint. Ideal sized leaves to wrap newt eggs in. I would have given 5 stars if it had not been for the invasive parrots feather.

Beautiful substantial garden centre with a vast variety of things for both home and garden. The restaurant is equally fantastic...there is usually a queue for entry but please be patient as it's so worth it . Very nice selection of breakfast lunch light bites snacks and drinks at very reasonable prices. Very helpful and friendly staff in both the garden centre and restaurant. Also lovely outside seating area for lunch when the weather is nice. Dogs also welcome. Highly recommend.

Came with my very elderly mother who cannot walk. A wheelchair and disabled trolley that fits in front of the wheelchair were easily available. The aisles were very wide, easily accomodating us without inconveniencing other customers. The staff were friendly, smiley and helpful. Also a huge range of good quality plants and gardening accessories. The cafe serves excellent food with a wide range of choices. Overall we had a very enjoyable and fun experience. Will definately be returning.

Lovey place to come and spend an afternoon, enjoyed lunch in the cafe, the rules on where dogs can and can't go is very confusing. This resulted in realising upon exit that I had been in a no dog area with a dog, staff didn't seem to notice I suspect because they find the different signs similarly confusing. Other than that friendly staff and a good time.

This place has so many different types of things on sale. Everything you'd expect from a Garden store. The BBQs are great (I bought one in sale and got a good deal). Plants are plenty. Along with local produce. And a greengrocer outside which do very fresh produce and have a shop that sells from pies to cheese and even hand made chocolates. The cafe on site is amazing too. Very good food and coffees Oh and lots of parking.

Best Garden center I've ever been to! Plenty of stock. Art and craft supplies, furniture, pet supplies, books, gifts. Has a Regatta and Craghoppers outdoor clothing section. Helpful staff. Staff work really hard to keep things tidy. Plants healthy. The restaurant food is amazing. Lovely selection of cakes. Would recommend the cooked breakfast. Food comes out so quick. Tables are always clean. Seating areas indoors and outdoors. When sunny weather it's nice to sit outdoors. There is also a playground for kids. Dog friendly they supply water bowls. Garden center also sells fresh baked goods and wine in the food section. There is also an art gallery and museum section. Great day out for family or visiting alone. Peaceful atmosphere. Relaxing music is played in the store.

I must say the quality of the plants is amazing I spoke to the manager yesterday from plant department she’s a very nice lady helpful and explained a few thing. This year they have done a plant sale and even those plants were fantastic. Compared to other garden centres this one is by far the best around. Well done all of you keep up the good work it’s a pleasure to come in and look around. Kind regards Marie.

This is a great store! Even if you have no interest in gardening or gardens. The restaurant here is excellent. Huge scones, cooked breakfasts until 3pm, lovely buns and cakes and decent coffee. They have a great food shop with special local foods and unusual stuff, lots of art, jewellery, clothing, a vast array of plants and trees and fish and pond stuffs. Excellent! 🍰☕

Brilliant venue. Ecclectic array of stock, interesting array of agricultural machinery, colourful art gallery and two great eateries including a deli. What's not to like!?

I don't normally write reviews, but had to share just how amazing the afternoon tea was at the Restaurant. The whole experience oozes quality and high standards! The restaurant itself is a delight, with beautiful oak beams, comfortable seating and everything spotlessly clean. The scones were among the best I've ever eaten (super fresh and not too sweet), the clotted cream was out of this world, and the waitresses couldn't have been more helpful, polite and cheerful. Well done Tates Hassocks!

Such a large garden centre. They sell everything, even things I didn't expect. Downside it will take you ages to go around everything. Big but busy cafe. Will go again.

A wide selection of plants. This nursery does also sell a huge amount of non plant stuff, hot tubs for approx £8k, garden lighting and impressive statues from colourful parrots to a huge dragon. They do spare parts for lots of garden tools. Sometimes there are good deals on plants.
