Visited here many a time in the past so just called in for a quick pint and check out the refurb. Must admit The Hawk was looking a bit tired and the refurb has been very sympatheticlly done and really adds to the charm and atmosphere. Since the Hawk re-opened a few weeks ago I’ve eaten in here 3 times and the food is excellent, the atmosphere and staff very welcoming and wow what an incredible job has been done in renovating this gorgeous 500 year old village gem, it’s beautiful! Good luck for the future and well done!
