Went for a Thali night with a group of 15, booked well in advance. Delicious authentic gujurati cuisine cooked with care, attention to detail, and served with love. Great choice of local craft beer and wine, and had a delicious mango lassi with our meal. The hosts are clearly passionate about their
This is the first time I have used this café since it had a makeover / changed hands.
I was given a nice greeting and was made to feel welcome.
The cakes looked an improvement over the last time I went here. I ordered cafe latte and cake. As well as seating in the café there was a temporary shelter
Cafe by day, curry by night; 'Indian curry experience' is definitely the right description for this place. Wow, what a brilliant idea. Authentic & intimate Indian restaurant run by lovely people. There's no menu, just turn up and eat (you can opt for vegetarian or meat). Good drinks menu enhances th
This is great little cafe with the potential to be excellent. Early days, but the food and drinks are good and reasonably priced. Everyone working there - some of whom I know - is friendly and attentive. The decor is lovely and they have an ice-cream maker which will definitely appeal to kids! And a
I’ve been to this place a few times for breakfast and they have everything I could’ve wanted! Coffee tasted amazing (I had a cappuccino) the the eggs Benedict with vegan sausage was perfect. They also have a variety of different pastry items for take out which I’ll have to try next time I’m in town.
Stopped off here whilst on a bike training ride. Lovely cosy cafe. Friendly staff. Opted for salmon/scrambled eggs on toast. Really tasty 😋 and well needed!!
Good range of cakes as well. Tea was leaf tea served cafetiere style. Nice touch. If passing again will definitely stop off.
I visited as part of a morning deluge of cyclists participating in a mass event. Despite this, the staff were patient and helpful. The caramelised onion sausage roll was very good, but the apple and cinnamon cake/muffin I had was to die for. A great little place to stop.
Can't recommend the Mohak Indian Thali experience enough. We visited this Saturday evening and the food and the service couldn't have been better. The pani puri were a delicious start and everything on the thali was super tasty including goat and chicken curries and a dal. My partner is dairy free a
I've just treated my staff (and myself!) to a combination of great grub (goat, and chicken and vegetal curries) and fresh hand made flat breads with perfect combination of flavour, spices, heat and goodness, all finished off with one of their delicious apple and toffee muffins.....once our waistline
