Busy Saturday morning - all the tables outside were being used so we sat inside. English Breakfast was good and plentiful as were the Eggs Benedict with bacon and so was the coffee. Saw some of the other menu options being served and the portions were huge.

I didn't have the breakfast but the plates coming out looked incredible. I had a cheese-ham-tomato toastie and it was HUGE. Loaded with melted cheese. Beautiful.

I had lunch with a friend, my friend had a jacket potato with salad, which looked lovely. I ordered avocado on toast, which arrived with two fried eggs. The food was good. However I feel the meal would have been nicer if the eggs had been poached rather than fried. The cafe was quite when we visited
We came here after a pleasant walk in the forest and we needed to replenish our energies. We had a classic english breakfast with a coffee. The coffe was good and the service fine. We really liked the breakfast which seemed to be made with local food.
My husband and I go to Darnley’s quite regularly now. We always order the chicken bacon mayo ciabatta and chips to share, as their portion sizes are so generous! Although the waiting time is a bit long we are always happy to wait as the food is all made fresh to order from scratch. Would defo recomm
Excellent value for money with great coffee and cakes. Personable service, clean interior and bathroom and comprehensive menu. Lots of space inside also in case Covid is a concern.

Really great staff and great cafe food. Very accommodating of food allergies and intolerances. Food can take s while to come after ordering but it's worth it as it is all prepared to order and it is only s little cafe. Love it, it's fab!!
