Excellent pub grub. Four clean plates and two big smiles after eating here.
The Wheatsheaf is a lovely local pub with a really friendly feel. Ken, the landlord, and the rest of his team were, without exception, very
welcoming and we felt right at home. The location is really great for exploring haslemere and the local walking - Devil's Punchbowl is about 10 mins drive but you
Really enjoyable stay. We had warm clean room with a murial of Italy on the wall. We had a great welcome and lovely evening Meal in the restaurant/bar. There was an excellent breakfast the following morning. A big bonus is that dogs are welcome and there is ample walking areas nearby. Recommended. W
Amazing menu. Food was fantastic best I have had in a very long time. The lamb was perfect. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend
Friendliest pub I have ever visited. Ken the landlord and his team were brilliant, their hospitality was first class. Clean spacious rooms, fantastic breakfast and delicious home cooked meals by talented chefs at great prices and a great pint - you could not ask for more! Highly recommended and can'
This rating is based on the excellent service and manner of all the staff. Rooms are simple and neat as a pin, and wall paintings add a great touch. Food was tasty and filling. For what it is... a wayfarers pub... this is a great place to stay. Will definitely consider using again if we're back
We've been to the Wheatsheaf about four times now and we have always been impressed. The service is great, they have a good range of food on offer and the meals are always delicious. They have a lovely outdoor seating area for nice days. Will defo return.
Lovely family run traditional pub. Unpretentious, great food and service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend this place. What a shame it's not my local! Thank you The Wheatsheaf Inn. 👍
We had a lovely Sunday lunch here, 6 adults, 3 under 9's, celebrating a family birthday. Very relaxed meal with friendly service and a lovely playground on the green opposite for an after lunch stroll.
This is a genuine village pub with rooms and a free house where the owners have been looking after us for 21 years.
Friendly casual atmosphere where a varied menu of bar and restaurant food is available seven days.
