Possibly my most favourite pub ever!!!!! The atmosphere is amazing both in the pub/bar section to the casual dining to the fine dining section. The staff are the friendliest I have ever EVER experienced. They really make you feel a part of a family. Honestly this is a MUST DO. Once you come here yo
If you’re looking for a cosy, traditional, country pub with a menu to suit every occasion, then you have come to right place! The staff are so welcoming and made our visit feel special. Thank you
Beautiful meal as usual. We visited a couple of days ago and the weather was bleak so to find the fire roaring was most welcome! My wife had a lovely aubergine curry dish and I had the pigs cheeks. She said it was delicious and rich and my dish was melt-in-mouth tender. Just what I needed on a Cold
Great country pub. Perfect location, plenty of parking, great walks near by and a cracking Sunday Lunch. It can be easy for a Sunday Roast to be good, but the roasts we all had were excellent. Beautiful flavour on the beef, well balanced, properly seasoned veg and crispy potatoes. Friendly team behi
Good quality food, friendly staff and dog friendly. Not cheap but reasonable value and we enjoyed our visit. The dog treats at the bar were a nice touch and the staff happily supplied us with a bowl of water for our thirsty boy.
The White Horse in Hascombe never fails to satisfy. Good food reasonably priced and great customer service. All the staff seem happy in their work which filters through to the overall atmosphere. It’s the best of both worlds, and old fashioned village pub as well as a modern dining experience. We wi
Everything was lovely here Welcomed by friendly and professional staff. Food was delicious. Nice beer garden if you like dining Al fresco. Adequate parking available
Met my friend here as it’s approximately half way between us. It was brilliant and even though we book for drinks the smell of the food soon convinced us to order food. We were so glad we had. It was so yummy and tasty. The atmosphere was busy and friendly.
Visited family earlier this week and we fancied going to a country pub. Decided on the White Horse and what a pleasant surprise. Called to book a table and check that it was dog friendly and that they had a table. What a beautiful place. Nice atmosphere, excellent polite staff and the food was equal
Amazing pub, delicious food, and fantastic service. The garden is wonderful when the sun is out, and the inside is warm and cosy. The sticky toffee pudding is incredible. We've only been a couple of times but it's already one of our favourites
We had dinner here between Christmas and new year and it was fantastic. The food was great and the service super friendly. The pub itself has a good layout and really nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back! We came back and it did not disappoint on round two! The Brie starter is a must and the
Had a lovely lunch, Chalk River Trout, Scallops, Soft Shell Crab. All cooked to perfect. Good sized portions. Service was prompt and friendly. Reasonably priced. Was very please we stumbled across it. Was a perfect stop off on our walk through the area. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic lunch. Beef perfectly cooked and tender. Excellent veggies. BUT felt the single spoon scoop of white chocolate mousse way over priced.
Lovely pub and great garden. We sat on the patio and had a really good chicken salad in the sunshine. Staff were super friendly and professional. Food was delicious. Lucky to live so nearby to this gem!
Beautiful country pub, lovely staff and really good food. Recommend to anyone. We went for a nice walk and ended up stumbling across the pub and have been going back ever since.
Great impromptu Sunday roast after a stroll round Winkworth. Roast beef with all the trimmings was banging! My wife had the vegetarian option (Wellington) and loved it too. Great food and a very friendly bunch of people!
Enjoyed a lovely sunday lunch here with family. Delicious food our group especially enjoyed the roast beef and roast chicken meals. Delightful, spacious thriving pub with the nicest atmosphere. Kind, friendly staff that could easily get 5* but lacked the management presence to be more attentive. Wo
What a lovely pub! We went there recently with a walking group of 10 people and all had a great lunch sitting in the beautiful garden. The menu was good and varied and everyone was very happy with their choice. It is a dog friendly pub too and SAophie the Schnauser was made to feel welcome too. I ju
Great wine, food and setting. Best calves liver. Spectacular smoked haddock scotch eggs. Lamb kofta, pan fried chicken livers and cod with beans. Every dish was delicious and perfectly cooked. Worth traveling for. Although we ate in the pub there is a beautiful dining room for special occasions.
