Last time 2 large cod and chips fed 2 hungry adults and 2 hungry children with leftovers.
Rarely come across nowadays, but always nice to see, a good old fashioned British chippy. Lovely bit of cod and chips to eat by the seafront and I've even forgotten it's raining. Just need a cuppa tea now to wash it down.
35 years I have now lived down south and for the first time today, I walked into a chippy and asked for 'scraps' and not only did they know what I was talking about but they asked if I wanted them on the chips or wanted a bag full ! Well done Harwich chippy Pieseas... oh and lovely chips they were

It's worth us travelling from colchester to good fresh fish not greasy staff polite friendly always busy so well liked worth going for the day good food and sit watch the boats or go to beach to eat them recomend it

Very much enjoyed the fish & chips and sausage & chips we got from here today at lunchtime. Crispy batter and tasty fish.
Waited about 10 to 15 minutes as it was cooked to order and we seemed to arrive just at the busy time!
