The most gorgeous little gem. We absolutely loved everything, the open fire, the atmosphere, the ales, the food, the staff, the music and the accommodation. Can't wait to come back again.

Popped in while staying in Harwich for two nights and stayed the evening. Good choice of 5 regional real ales, really friendly staff and a fascinating historic setting in the old town. Food is upscale so don't expect standard pub grub, lots of seafood, some veggie options. A really warm welcome and would definitely return.

Amazing food and beer garden. Great to see how different places are adapting to the new norm, this place was adapting very well and I felt very comfortable & safe. I had the most tender roast beef dinner (£18) while my husband had lobster thermidor (£28), local ciders & a bottle of wine in total came to £67 Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely go again as there was lots on the menu I wanted to try!

We had a fantastic meal, best nachos ever. My wife had the lobster which she said was amazing. My Daughter had Oysters and chips which she really enjoyed and my Son and I had burgers which were great. Beer and wine were good and the staff were great. Luxury food at reasonable prices. All in all a great experience.... Quite rare these days. Thank you Alma Inn.

We spent one night in the inn, lots of stairs but well worth the hike for a good nights rest and a relaxing bath. The breakfast in the morning was perfect! Lots of options. Thankyou for the lovely stay.

The food was really good. I had fish and chips and the batter was really light and the chips were superb - although no mushy peas. The menu is extensive and muxh better than you would expect from Pub Grub. Overall really good.
