We had a wonderful lunch - mahusive burgers with Gloucester Blue melt, and chunky fries along with a pint £10 - great value. Warm by a cracking fire, and served by extremely attentive staff. Highly recommend.
We called in last night as a party of 6 and the service simply amazing. The atmosphere was brilliant and the view outside is to die for. The selection of Gins are exceptional and the knowledge round the Gins was equally as good. We were then joined by a further 3 people who arrived just as the kitchen was about to close but they still found the time to serve them food as well. Great pub, great food, great staff and a great way to celebrate William's final night at Hartpury college. Thank you for making it a night to remember.

Well, where do I start!! Staff are friendly, food is amazing and everyone is so welcoming! The bar staff during the day went the extra mile to help us out as we were literally in the middle of nowhere in our hotel. Alan sorted taxis for us and couldn’t do enough to help, Caz....well she went that extra mile to help us, made us feel so welcome, she was very friendly and when talking to her, it feels like you’ve known her for a long time! She’s a credit to the pub and her and Alan work really well together to make sure all customers and happy and to meet their needs.
We were going to go into the Quays for our evening meal, but soon changed our plans and went back here.....the food is outstanding! My partner had fillet steak and I can thoroughly recommend the smoked cod wrapper in pancetta on a bed of seafood risotto.....just amazing!
Prices are a little high, however you get what you pay for and was worth every penny!
A visit is a must if you are in the area!!

We were staying nearby and were recommended to dine here, we couldn't get a table on Saturday night, but went on Monday evening and probably had the best 'pub' meal we've ever had, so much so, that we returned on Tuesday and my husband had exactly the same 2 courses! Caroline and team couldn't have been more friendly and efficient. Sorry to be going home tomorrow, but our waist lines couldn't take any more!

First time going here following a online search. Lovely and friendly staff so welcoming. Drinks were lovely and fresh and the food was amazing. Family friendly with baby seats and big outside area which would be lovely on a summers day. Can only give it 4 stars as I was so full I couldn't stomach the deserts. But I will be back and will get one! Keep it up!
Went for lunch at the Royal Exchange and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious. The portions were very generous. You could tell the food was freshly cooked.
The service was very prompt and our waitress was very friendly but not too in your face if that makes sense.
Amazing food and service from the Royal Exchange. Visited here with my brother's family and we received very attentive service. Portion size is very generous and even the children's meals are almost adult sized. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting this area.
We found this lovely place after searching for dog-friendly places for a Sunday lunch. Dogs are allowed on the terrace or on the lawn and we had only been there for 10 mins and a member of staff offered to bring a dog bowl and water which we really appreciated. What a gorgeous find - stunning views, caring, friendly staff and fresh, well-presented food. We can't wait to come back and visit again!

We stopped off here while travelling back from a trip down Cornwall the food was Amazing and so was the service from the Royal Exchange. We received a very attentive and friendly service from the staff. (Sophie/ zoe) Portion sizes are generous and we would definitely recommend it if you are visiting this area. We asked for the names of the chefs Darren and Sam as we thought they deserved a mention as we really enjoyed the pork lion meal we had. 5 stars well done.

Would have given 5 stars but massively disappointed that the vegan desert was served with non-vegan custard. This was not made clear on the menu and implied the vegan desert would be vegan not just parts of it vegan. (Chose vegan desert due to dietary intolerances). Besides that the Sunday roast and crumble were absolutely phenomenal and I would highly recommend going here!
