Best fish shop in town atm. Staff are always friendly and food is great. The batter is lovely. You always get decent portions. One portion of chips is enough for 2 people. Had the large fish and it is really big.

Found this little gem on the way back from crimdon dene beach. Lovely big portions tasty chips and easy to park. Thumbs up.
Never had a bad meal from here, staff are very friendly, the fish is always fresh, the chips are chunky and lush, prices have risen due to the depression but hey, haven't they all, hope they go down again as things improve 🤔👍🏻
We absolutely love the fish & chips here! We don’t live in Hartlepool but come and visit family, and we ALWAYS buy from here. Never disappointed - we are usually on the floor after finishing, but we do nit stop before we finish! This time around the service was even over the top - we got extra scrap

Excellent fish & chips good portions, staff friendly very good value. There can be a bit of a wait BUT when you order they then start to cook them fresh nice and crispy
Not sure if it's the best in Hartlepool, but it's certainly the best one I've found so far. Everything cooked to order. Large cod is large+, large chips less so. Excellent Covid protocols in place.
The chips are excellent, the fish is superb. Prices are okay given the quality. Service can take a while on busy nights, but it seems like everything is cooked fresh.
Nice fresh cooked fish. Small wait but don't mind for freshness. Good chips decent portion especially for a half lot. Little on the expense side compared to others.
Quick and easy very tasty been many many times and never had a bad meal yet, the owner Sunny is a really nice guy and so is his wife forever engaging my toddler when we enter the shop to keep him busy whilst we wait for the food, which is never a long wait, parking is very tight due to its location
The batter on their fish is amazing. Light and crispy, makes the meal so much better. Prices are average staff are friendly. Definitely with a visit
Beautiful. Fish fritter and chips with scraps and then eaten on the sea front on the headland. We do this every time we go to Hartlepool and it never disappoints.
The fish is cooked to order. Delicious dish n chips and don't forget the mushy peas and pickled egg. Great food great service and very pleasant staff xx
Nice food. The batter used looks strange but is so light and crispy, very tasty, but a lot of it flakes off. I Will definitely go again.
