Good little find. Food was amazing. There is a special deal on two courses for Β£13.95. Everything was delicious even down to the salad with dressing on it. The waitress Gabby was very efficient even though she was running the bar, taking orders, serving food and taking payment all by herself. Will definitely be back.
Amazing food to be fair, definitely πππππ rating for the food. Unfortunately for my tastes the venue let me down a little with a complete lack of atmosphere and below average service. Music was on a loop (80s songs) that lasted around 80-90 minutes so before we left we could tell the next song.
More worryingly we ordered our drinks and they sat on the bar for five minutes whilst the young girl took a telephone order, I think she was on her own at that point, but still. Then when I finished that drink I waited another ten minutes to be asked if I wanted another. Nothing horrific but a disappointing level of service which might be due to being in at early tea time and they only had one server in.
To reiterate, food was amazing and I would definitely go back for more.
Food & service were excellent the braised beef in peppercorn sauce (half mash/half chips) was really really good.
Staff were friendly and polite.
Was worried on arrival (very few cars in the carpark) and only two other diners (although the kitchen was busy with takeaways - which explained the number of cars being much greater than the number of guests eating).
I have no idea why this place isn't busier. It deserves to be given the quality of the food.

Went for Sunday lunch.
Didn't enjoy as much as evening meals.
Yorkshire pudding hard, roast potatoes cold, cauliflower in a cheese sauce seemed like it had been warmed up & put under the grill

Pros - large size dinner at a great price, food was nice and presented well. nice deserts presented well.
Cons - yorkshire puddings were tough on the day we arrived. Struggled to cut them up. The cheese sauce they use on the veg was more like nacho cheese. Would recommend using a more creamy sauce for a dinner. The decor isnt the best very cafe vibe inside. Although still clean.
Overall it was a great experience just a few small issues.
Would visit again 100%.

Perfect food, perfect service, love this place
Been meaning to go for years and am glad we did, food was gorgeous I got garlic mushroom starter with Stilton and it was a really big portion and I chose chicken supreme with salad and potatoes. Really good quality produce and the prices were really good. The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Will definitely come back and recommend to others to go

Really nice food. The size of the pudding for the price was a little disappointing however it was more filling then we thought so in hindsight not so bad!
