Very clean and tidy pub with plenty to offer for a little family meal out.
Food was OK. My daughter loved the carvery.
Plenty of choice with drinks and not too bad price wise.
Love the wacky warehouse too.
Update- ordered a kids meal with ice cream and drink for £5.48 which I thought was a very good deal! Delivered into wacky for convenience too!
Went to the wacky warehouse soft play area bit bought the child a meal
pizza chips and peas for £4.99 and two coffees for us adults came to £5.30 and a fruit shoot for 60p plus the entry fee for the child to go into the soft play area so what I am saying is to take the children to a soft play area for 1-hour you need a spare £20 which might not much to some people .
but that's a lot of money to me . and that's a cheap place .
some places will charge the child £9 just to go into the soft play area and £1 each for the adults to sit there watching .
this is before you buy food and drinks ....

Always a fun experience. Definitely gets busy as the day goes on but there are plenty to keep children entertained, toilets are easily accessible and there are drinks and snacks available without having to go through to the pub.
A beautiful pub with beautiful food and out of this world customer service! Just from walking in with my family the staff were so engaging with my children! Nothing was too much and the food was outstanding! Would highly recommend visiting here even if its just for a drink as the building has character and good atmosphere! If I ever holiday here again I'll definitely come back!
Arrived around 2.30pm without booking, seated immediately, friendly and professional staff. Carvery lovely well cooked and plenty of choice. 20% off food with my blue light card was an added bonus
Had a wonderful meal tonight with awesome service. The chef was really nice and polite to my fiancé so made the evening feel special. The place was all decorated ready for Xmas and had a warm inviting atmosphere. A great experience thanks
First time there very nice. We had a carvery which was good plenty of vegetables and three different meats. Good prices nice and clean and helpful staff.
Staff were all really nice and the food was lovely, there's a month's pass available for the play area which is great if you take your kids frequently. To make the most of the pass for than 3 visits pays for its self.
My great-granddaughter had a great 2nd birthday here. In the soft play area . Then we went in to have a meal the staff made it even more special for her. When the manager brought the cake out, everyone Song happy birthday to her . A big thank you to everyone at the merry go round .

Came here today while we was in the area took my lad in play area big play area was really quite cost £4.50 for 90 minutes good value have to say staff was super friendly in the play area excellent job guys 👍
