What can I say we've just had a beautiful meal served by a wonderful waitress called Julie very friendly. Jack the chef cooked our meals to perfection nothing was too much trouble. Adam the bar manager is a very friendly guy he talked us through our wedding plans which is booked for September. Would definitely recommend the Owton Lodge for its friendly atmosphere and food.
Just left here - lovely helpful staff; very friendly too. I even got ID'd at 22! Very attentive :)

Never in my 22 years have I had a hot BLUE steak; it's usually cold on the inside (as it is virtually raw)... amazing. Compliments to the chef, and to the staff with their lovely customer service.
Love the new menu loads of choice steak was lovely, best meal we've ever had here by far compliments to the chef!

Staff were very polite and the atmosphere was great. The table was abit sticky but everywhere else looked good and clean. Lots of parking spaces. The food we had was delicious.
Food lovely, sizzling pubs needs to update the menu though, hasn't changed for an eternity. Staff nice, especially the tall ginger chap, someone needs to wife him up. Sticky toffee pudding is lush!
Food was nice, would order some sides next time as the sizzlers was a small portion and my partner was still hungry. The Only thing that lost a star was the fact they microwaved my bread and it was still frozen in the middle. Staff behind the bar were great 👍

Went for lunch and we enjoyed it large selection of choices on menu and average score from five diners was 8/10 reasonably priced only fault was the fruit in the gin bar was still frozen still would revisit
Always had good food here, nice selection of classic pub grub and lots of healthy options too!!! Always a few in during the week but still good service and never wait to long for food. Only downside is of a weekend its full of kids running riot. Not the pubs fault I know but can be annoying

Came with my grandson who is nearly 2 to see buzz and he had an amazing time and so did I you have an amazing group of staff members who were very friendly and helpful and there is always someone on hand to answer any question loved every minute and will definitely be back
The menu has a lot of variety and the price of both drinks and food are extremely reasonable.
The restrooms are extremely clean.
Huge car park, and plenty of dining tables inside and out. Lovely to sit outside in the summer and enjoy a bite to eat in the sunshine.
The pub was bouncing - but all of the staff were super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
The food was nice but as it was a busy time we had a 40 minute wait. Would go back again though.
