me n my partner went today had the lunch time specials. 3 courses amazing value. starter prawn cocktail hunters chicken ham egg n chips apple pie chocfudge cake n loads custard. lovely hot food tasted beautiful. few drinks and custard to die for well be back soon.
We had different meals and all were lovely :-) hunter's chicken, hunter's steak and scampi. Really nice staff and atmosphere too :-)

Amazing food. Best food I've ever had. Cocktails were amazing and such a wifde selection. Decent prices and the comedy night was amazing. Never laughed so much in my life!!
The Greenside is a warm and welcoming venue with so many lovely people and attentive, professional, and friendly staff. Darren had served me at the bar and was a fabulous barman. Allison is the landlord and spends a lot of time with customers to make everyone feel welcome. They had karaoke and disco on, and it was such an amazing atmosphere with great music and some really good singers. All in all, I had a great night and will have many more to come. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Impromptu visit, had macaroni cheese with extra bacon 🥓, was lovely could have done with a little but more macaroni cheese as it was lovely.
Service was quick, staff polite, and helpful.
It was a quiz night, which was enjoyable.
No longer live in the area but will visit again when back home.
Fittest bar staff in the area! Love it here. Always come in here with my friends. More than happy to spend an hour or so chilling before I hit the town. The manager is awesome!
Lovely pub grub and happy atmosphere. I had the club sandwich with home made chips, loved the meal however the chips were out of this world, nothing better than homely food!
I will be coming back for more😍

Best pub in hartlepool. Quiz nights on Thursday are so fun, made it a weekly ritual! Staff are so nice and friendly and locals are lovely. Definitely feel welcome

Only called in for a drink with a friend. Staff were brilliant. Very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Had burger chips and salad the kids ate for a pound great value for money the staff where very friendly nothing was a problem would definitely eat there again

The Strongarm is still fab and the place is welcoming and happy

Attended a wake so can't really rate the atmosphere fairly. Staff friendly, served quickly and clean toilets.
Alison and staff went above and beyond when we came in to watch the King been crowned 👑 made everyone sausage and bacon sandwiches lovely friendly place to go , menu really good and drinks go down well aswel 😁

Me and my wife were visiting the area recently and we heard about this place and thought we would check it out while we were on vacation.
We really loved the atmosphere and the food and drinks were great! They also had super friendly staff especially Alys, they were very helpful with anything we needed.
Came and visited this lovely pub a couple days ago and will definitely be back soon! Atmosphere was amazing but my stand out was Neve, she made sure we had a great night from the moment we stepped through the door and I can’t thank her enough!
