Sheesh Mahal - Hartlepool - Photo album

Probably the best Indian food I've ever tasted. Was authentic and felt homemade. Okra was beautiful and popped in your mouth. A family run business with friendly staff and a very helpful waitress with a twinkle in her eye who was keen to give the customers what they want. Hats off to this place. Hi
Thoroughly enjoyed the Tapas option, giving a nice amount of 2 curries (perfect for one person). Would definitely go again.
Lovely place. Friendly staff. Quite a big place inside. Decent sized menu. The food was superb and the service was excellent. Right on the front of the marina. Definitely recommended.
Lovely layout, open plan so you can see the whole kitchen. Good atmosphere and fairly busy for new year time, but not irritatingly busy. Excellent food and very reasonable. The Indian Tapas Menu is very filling and exceptional value for money with starter, rice, naan and two main dishes for £15 (pic
The best dine-in Indian in Hartlepool. The tapas is hard to beat for value and the food is great. Never had an issue with the service and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant also has a full array of vegan options on the back of the menu, and are happy to answer any questions. I find the foo
My family and I tried Sheesh Mahal for the first time at the weekend, they have disabled access which I was grateful for as I'm an electric wheelchair user, we have severe allergies that the friendly staff said they could cater for and showed us the wonderful vegan selection of food on the menu and
The food was exceptionally good, cooked fresh and was very quick. Staff went over and above the service required, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. I am going to recommend to all my friends, it was amazing. I’m really looking forward to going back. I had the Chikken Tikka Palak an
Was pretty quiet when we visited. However, on the plus side, we were served our food really quickly. Ordered the Indian Tapas meal, which comprised of a starter, rice dish and two smaller portions of curry, and a naan again of your choice. Food was hot and more than enough for me and very tasty.
Absolutely amazing food. So delicious and great value for money. I had the tapas special, which is what is shown here. Will definitely be back ☺️
After seeking advice from Shay regarding ordering a takeaway, I can only say probably the best Indian meal I've had, the rice was light and flavoursome, the Lamb madras was exceptional in taste and spice levels, onion bahji were crispy and delicious, the garlic and chilli Naan was both spicy and tas
Never been here before but went on Tuesday for my birthday the food was amazing and the staff were very nice will definitely be going again
Got a take away, bettween 10 lads every single one of us were blown away with the sheer quality, and hospitality. Wouldn’t go any where else for an Indian. Very impressive
Very good food and service. The vindaloo tasted like a naga which for me was excellent. Very hot in the restaurant. One of the best in the north east.
Family run business which is lovely. Food is really good. Worth visiting. Thank you. 😊
It was very nice food. Every dish was delicious. Very friendly staff and atmosphere
