Went for Lunch here on Saturday before Mothers Day with my mum and three sisters and my niece. The staff were more than friendly and made our visit very enjoyable. Lovely food and a great atmosphere. Great location. Highly recommend.

Excellent food and service. I was concerned about my steak but the duty manageress spoke to chef who was happy to meet my requirements. It had snowed all day and there had been no delivery but the staff coped really well and diners were mostly happy. (There’s always one party you can never please - large parties, learn to book in advance, it’s really easy).

Visit quite often and never have a problem, Great food and really friendly and helpful staff especially a lady called Deb! She is always doing that bit extra to make your experience that little bit better.

My sister and I had our evening meal here. The Haddock and chips were excellent. My sister had the chicken pie. She said the pastry was lovely and crisp without being hard. I had the jam roly poly for afters only fault with it was the lack of jam. Hardly any in it, such a shame as apart from that it was excellent too.

Went for food and drinks on a Friday night. Unfortunately they were only accepting cash because of an issue with their server but I found a cash point and got to ordering. The food came out quickly, it was piping hot and delicious. We sampled a few cocktails and they were also lovely. The service we received was fantastic, especially from Jacob behind the bar who was very friendly and had great rapport with all the customers. We will definitely be returning!

I brought my daughter for a breakfast and as usual it was fab value, especially with the school holiday offer where kids eat free! All food was lovely and hot and the service provided by Ann, Deb and Collette exceptional! None of the food offerings are coated in butter so there are reasonable vegan and vegetarian options too

Stayed at the premier inn next door. Breakfast was hit and miss to be honest. Buffet style, the sausage and bacon were not very tasty. The black pudding was great. Main meals were excellent though. Great atmosphere with lovely views over the marina. Would recommend 👌

The establishment was very clean and tidy and the team couldn't do enough for us. Ann and Collette were our allotted team and were very, very pleasant and cheerful. The main food was well served and was both hot and cooked correctly and the desserts were to die for. The team deserves 10 out of 10 as does the food and location. We will definitely return.

Whitbread would be proud of this well managed restaurant with attentive and proactive staff. Classic Brewers Fayre menu: no-one comes here on a diet. The staff are well trained at upwelling, seem to be in the right jobs here and curate a space that is totally on brand.

Good place for date night, staff are really passionate about their job and have a lot of experience. Thank you Lauren for being the best bartender I've come across in years. I have 3 stars for dinner as it wasn't great, however I highly recommend the breakfast... All fresh and delicious.

First time here yesterday and was impressed. Lots of tables outside to enjoy the views of the marina, 5 of us ate and we were all impressed good food, with good sized potions, nice atmosphere too not too busy either considering it was a Friday night, so plenty of free tables, no queue to order and the food was served really quickly. Only thing to note is if you are parking there you need to register your car or you could get charged, luckily I spotted a sign at the bar.

Lovely spot to grab a meal. Lots of free parking and very relaxing location. Staff were friendly and the service was quick. Food quality was good with plenty of choices for food and drink. This pub/restaurant has a children’s play area - this is clean and well maintained although is a little expensive (could be free for guests staying in the Premier Inn). Why 5 Stars? (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) - Look, it’s not pretending to be a Michelin started restaurant BUT it does offer reasonably priced food that is decent quality and of a good range. We’d go back and use again. What does the place need to watch - cleanliness was good but this could easily slip (menus/condiment holders aren’t ever nice to handle if grubby).

We've just been to see the Tall Ships in Hartlepool. Absolutely fabulous although I must admit,I preferred seeing them in Sunderland. The sky was beginning to darken so we decided to have lunch at the Old West Quay. The atmosphere was electric! We were quickly shown to a table and we're advised that the fish and chips were less than £15 for two servings! Refillable hot and cold drinks, non alcoholic obviously. We thoroughly recommend that you visit, as we were greeted, like old friends. Our food arrived just as the heavens opened and was perfect. Thank you to all the staff working an extremely busy shift. 10/10..

Ate here in both the evening and morning. Burgers were very nice, everything was priced fairly and was very moreish. The refill drinks machine didn't always give you what you wanted but no particular complaints as it was nice anyway. The breakfast bar was absolutely perfect and at first seems pricey at almost £10 however you can eat anything and everything so justifies itself.

We came for breakfast which was absolutely lovely. Plenty of choice and quality products used. Kids loved it and it is great value for money. The staff are friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Defo worth a visit for breakfast.

Ginge and Lauren on the bar gave us the best experience of my time working away. They were very knowledgeable and always had time for us. A lot of Premier inns with a brewers fare lose the solo traveller but this one is a very welcome place to stay. Thanks for having me and I hope to see you again.
