Visited for lunch today with a friend who suffers with celiac. The choice of gluten free on the menu is fantastic and she was in her element and spoilt for choice. We were served by Christine whose knowledge of celiac and gluten free products was fantastic. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. A massive well done for service and dietary info. We shall definitely be back. Thank you xx

Visited the restaurant today as my husband is gluten free. This is his 2nd visit and he was very pleased with the selection of food on offer. He had a gluten free beef and salad sandwich and bowl of gorgeous vegetable soup. Also have a selection of cakes. And was told by the staff who are very helpful by the way that the menu will extend in the future. It's nice to go somewhere were it's safe for my husband to eat and not in fear of cross contamination.

I haven't been to Mary Lamberts in years. I use to love the place but stopped going a few years back when I was diagnosed with celiacs. Spotted they did gf poped in the morning and made a few purchases the gf is well set up frendly staff and I could even get a salad as all the items where dished up with there own utensils. top marks.

After long cold morning of football in the snow, we went along to Mary Lamberts for our well earned lunch/Dinner. I have to say we all enjoyed our meal very much,... best chips in town!! Couldn't fault the staff, they are very friendly with quick service. Thank you, we will be back again!!

I went there today with my woman and a friend. We enjoyed the best full English. The only things was the mushroom should have been fried preferably rather than blanched but the hash browns were on another level. My Mrs also said she doesn't normally like sausages but the flat skinless sausage meat was amazing. Prices were reasonable and also some cheap deals on certain items. Point to note, they have won the best fish and chips for serval years since opening. Friendly staff. Clean and pleasant cafe, well decorated and modern. I haven't found a better cafe in Hartlepool yet and I would recommend you give this place a try.

Lovely clean & contemporary cafe/restaurant with disabled access. Tasty freshly cooked food served quickly by efficient friendly and helpful staff. My one and only complaint was paying £4.95 for a fairly ordinary hot chocolate drink with a squirt of cream a sprinkle of marshmallows. I will definitely be back, but will give the hot choc a miss.

Friendly staff. The breakfast was 7 out of 10. Egg overcooked and wasn't keen on the mushrooms. Otherwise very nice.

THE Best Fish and chips in the North East and probably further... worth travelling for!! Also some absolutely scrumptious cakes and biscuits. The staff are always lovey and friendly, and it's always clean and tidy, with plenty of indoor seating and a good range of hot and cold beverages.

In my opinion the best fish and chip shop in hartlepool. I always sit in with my partner and a lot of times children aswell it's very child friendly and all the staff are friendly throughout. The food is consistently of a very high standard. I havnt had a bad meal in the last 6 years I have been going. It's very fair priced and you always leave happy and content.

It has a sort of wine cellar appeal to it on the outside. Looks as if it would be expensive, which is why my little pauper butt has never been in before. Different story on the inside. Really friendly and welcoming staff you don't feel as if they're looking down at you at all. Cleanliness is amazing, the second someone left the building they were cleaning the table. I got quiche with amazing coleslaw and salad £2.99, which was so soft and not lacking in the cheese BONUS. Music was soft and not overbearing. The waitress was absolutely the most patient person I've ever met with my mother's intolerances and never ending questions haha Overall I will be returning and taking others with me :-)

Visited Mary Lambert's recently and was very impressed with the quality of the food and the service. The staff were very welcoming and polite and we were served our food within twenty minutes, bearing in mind it was a Friday and the place was packed. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning again in the near future.

The BEST fish and chips i have ever had , they only cook to order so it is always SCRUMPTIOUS and at a very reasonable price even after this weeks increase due to the implication of the Living Wage. They even serve a marvellous ground coffee . You will be not be dissapointed
