If fancy FISH and CHIPS while at seaton you won't get a better meal than hear customer service 2nd to none and wow what a meal myself and my daughter only ordered the small fish and chips and we both struggled to finish it give it a try you won't be disappointed 👍
We visited The Almighty Cod yesterday for the first time and we were very impressed.
We had the small fish and chips and it was amazing. Very well priced too. You got fish and chips, bread and butter and a drink for £5.50.

Really good value and great quality. Sat in the restaurant. Fish, chips, bread & butter, either peas/beans/curry/gravy and a pot of tea for under £6. Cannot fault it. If you’re in Seaton this is a must-do.
Always travelled here for fish and chips, they have to be the best we have ever tasted. Due to small children one with complex needs and challenging behaviour we tend to opt for sitting in the car or on the beach to eat, today we decided we would brave coming into the restaurant to eat for the first time. Wow! Outstanding customer service, exceptionally well presented, very accommodating, nothing too much trouble. The food was amazing too but we already knew it would be.
The soft lighting, quiet and calming atmosphere really helped our child with autism and our two children with sensory processing difficulties. It was a lovely experience all round and will be back.
The best fish&chips ever. We had a groupon voucher for 4 and it was amazing value. Thank u Almighty Cod...we will be back to the cafe over the winter and to the shop as usual in the nicer weather �
We ate here yesterday 25/8/2017 the food and Service was excellent and very reasonably priced , I've worked in the fish and chip industry for 29 yrs so am very particular about it but
I have no problem rating this as 5" Only thing I'd change is I'd probably order small next time as it was too much for my small appetite and I hate to waste such good food x
Excellent fish and chips and friendly staff, always go when visiting Seaton Crew, only downside is it's quite small and sometimes have to wait outside.

The Almighty Cod is my favourite Fish and Chip shop in Seaton. The chips are not greasy and the Fish is beautifully flaky with a lovely batter.
Quite often there is a very large queue outside (as there should be with all good chip shops) but I assure you it is worth the wait.
You can ring an order ahead too to save some time. A fantastic vast menu with lots of special items too (battered Mars Bar, Halloumi Fries and a great selection of homemade brownies)
If you've not been here before I urge you to give it a try you won't be disappointed.
Found this little gem next door to the Might Cod takeaway it’s part of the Fish n chop shop. Friendly staff and amazing fish and chips, well worth the money!

Worth the wait. Only place I'll eat chips from, the half lot fish is really nice, shame they never seem to have it anymore, the full size fish isn't as nice, even when they nice enough to cut one in half to make a half lot portion. However still nicer than any other chip shop I've found on Teesside.

I also ordered a gluten free half lot. It was plenty big enough for one person. (It didn't agree with me but that's the risk I take when eating out)
There are often ques and I can see why.
I'd say the prices are about average.
This place has an outstanding reputation in the area, all I can say is its well deserved .Fish and chips are amazing as are the pies.

Fish and chip shop on the seafront. The portions were good but they did not have all the options on their menu. Fish and chip were ok but not outstanding the corn beef patty was not something we would ever order again.
