We had a great time at Sambucca celebrating my daughter’s Holly Communion. I wanted a private and cosy party and Sambucca staff has facilitated it by hiring us a separate and spacious room upstairs - all staff was very attractive and helpful and also food was lovely and served beautifully. Thank you for making our day special!
It's a fine place to eat, the staff are welcoming very friendly,the service was of a good quality! I would defo recommend to others!

The only problem with Sambuca’s Hartlepool is the menu! I want it ALL. Never had a meal here that wasn’t excellent. Staff are always friendly and chatty. Love the place. The meat sizzling last night was fantastic.
A nice little Italian restaurant just a short walk from the Marina. The service was good and the potato skins were delicious. The rest of the food was fairly average however.
The restaurant was busy but still had a nice ambiance about it. The waitstaff were very efficient and friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience.
I love the food here. Service is exceptionally quick. Usually, you can grab a table without booking in advance. Very reasonable prices, too.
Update - special shout out to Vicky tonight, who was absolutely brilliant in a difficult situation. She went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter and I were looked after. We have visited this restaurant for many years and never experienced any issues, we absolutely love the food here and the service we recieved was exceptional. We did enjoy our drinks and food, the atmosphere was very nice. Only one thing did let it down- we asked for a bill twice (10-15min from first time to another), second time they gave us a bill and left us again to wait (we were ready to pay)...so after 15min we asked can we pay...so it feels very strange, like why they are keeping us waiting? Knowing that they were not busy at all.
Great service lovely atmosphere. Food was amazing and the cake selection so good. This was the first time we had been here and had been let down by another restaurant so pleased we chose sambuccas we will deffinatly be back :)
Food was very good and reasonably priced. Beer selection was very poor but cocktails made do for a lunch drink. I'm dropping two stars in service as the waiter splashed sizzling hot sauce in my friend and barely apologised. I'm also dropping a star on atmosphere as I got Whammagedoned during my meal. Joking aside though that sauce was really hot and it should have been taken seriously and reported into the accident book, busy or not.

I got the lunch time special, 3 course for £7.95. There was 8 of us and we were served quickly and politely. Personally would not get the soup again but that's personal taste. Carbonara is amazing.
Our 1st time here for our granddaughter's 18th and it definitely will not be the last! We absolutely loved everything about this place, from the warm welcome to the happy attentive staff & a lovely ambiance and last but most important of all the food was amazing! Make sure you are really hungry when you visit sambuca's because the portions are ENORMOUS and the prices are so reasonable you will wonder if they have missed something off the bill!
Lovely place to eat out for a celebration 🍾 staff make a fuss of every birthday, engagement, etc. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Can be quite noisy at times but would still recommend.
Visited it first time few weeks ago and ordered some chief's special - got delicious meal, very well prepared. Wife chose diet option ;)
It was so good we decided to do special party for our daughter there.

We had a fantastic experience in the restaurant from start to finish. We didn't have a booking and they were extremely busy but the lovely girl who welcomed us said to give her 2 minutes and she would have a table for us. True to her word, she did. The service from all the staff was exceptional. The food was well worth the money, and the desserts were mouth-watering. If we were ever in the area again, it would definitely be where we would head.
Away for work and was recommended that Sambuca is an institution in the north east - and I can see why !! Loved my parmo.

Great service really friendly staff. Was really busy last night and neighbouring table was complaining about her steak she got a replacement still wasn't to her taste and then they came out with a third replacement. We fully enjoyed our starter and main course

Walked in around 5pm and were warmly welcomed by the very happy and energetic staff, sorted with our drinks and left to decide our meals, after ordering our meals that were produced soon after, being home cooked by the chefs in the open kitchen see photo lol, thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful and we both chose Linguini Marinara and were not disappointed, tasty with some fine seafood together with a side of garlic bread I'm afraid we couldn't manage desert but never mind we will try next time we visit, soon I hope, had a wonderful bottle of Zinfandel and all in for just over £40 bargain thanks for having us, we were thanked for choosing this restaurant by who i think was the owner he took a liking to my " Old fashioned hat lol" we liked that as there is quite a few restaurants to choose from on this street took a couple of photos including chefs cyas again soon thanks 😀 Bob Vickers
Wow, wow, wow. First time I have been to sambuca since we moved to Hartlepool. The food was gorgeous and the staff were lovely. The portion sizes were massive. Will definitely be going back there. Thanks for a great service.
