I love Gladys vintage tea rooms, the staff are so friendly & welcoming, there's always such a lovely atmosphere and the food is second to none and such amazing value. It's well worth the trip from Stockton. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this fabulous place it gets a 10++ from me every time. Keep up the good work ladies.

I've been here 3 times so far. Each time the service has been friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is a nice homely feel, exactly what you want from a tea room. Finally, the scones there are delicious, I had the pleasure of having one that was fresh out of the oven and I have never tasted a scone as good. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Seaton area. If I could give more than 5 stars then I would.

For a great treat for Nana it was lovely to be in here today. Considering we arrived half an hour before closing we got a lovely welcome. Waitress was delightful and the effort to keep everything to the theme adds atmosphere. Just good to have something a bit different. Thank you

Fantastic service, food was beautifully cooked 11 in our party and about 14 in the other at the joint Christmas celebration, no one had a complaint, atmosphere was very good and did lend itself to 1940’s wartime Britain (minus thank god the rationing ) Gladys themed tea rooms comes 5 star recommended, I would not hesitate to go there again, well done and thank you for a great night

Lovely place to stop. We had 2 coffee's and a warmed cheese scone, which was huge and tasted incredible. It was a full shop when we got served so naturally there was a little wait but didn`t bother us in such a great setting. Like stated above we only had a scone and not something larger but if the rest of the food on the menu was like the scone then I can only imagine that it would be lovely. Great value for money, would definitely stop here again when we pass through, maybe tomorrow before the festival.

We came to the cafe last weekend with my granddaughters I was very impressed with my BLT it was very tasty and my husband has mince and dumping he said it was very nice my granddaughters got fish fingers and chips and I was so impressed to see that the fish fingers were made with proper chunks of fish and the chips were homemade the little ones eat it all which was a lovely change

My Partner drove us over to Seaton Carew and we opted to eat at Glady's Vintage Tea Room and I am so glad we did. Fresh and appetizing sandwiches, sweet potato fries that were delicious and excellent staff. Having just reopened they are doing a sterling job and I would much prefer to eat at Glady's than have a takeaway. We go to Seaton quite a bit and I would say we have our new regular haunt for Seaton. Well done. Keep up the good work.

SPOT ON! Unfortunately we had to sit outside but the girls offered amazing customer service. THE CHIPS - 100% the best in the area, and this place is surrounded by fish chip places. We will def be back for the afternoon tea! Thank you ❤️

WE visited today and had a lovely surprise, the tea rooms are a real blast from the past, Glen Miller etc playing the ladies dressed in 40's style, excellent food and the memorabilia was fascinating, spotlessly clean and real tea in china cups. PERFIK :)

Really loved it , loved the atmosphere , staff and decor, food was delicious and plenty of it , cakes are made in the kitchen upstairs so properly homemade, the only downside is no dogs allowed but if you have a car the dog would be OK in there for the time of your meal , we had the dambuster breakfast but plenty of other options, will visit again.

Nice vintage tea room, with appropriate era decor with fun dress up and photo opportunities. A nice change to all the fish and chip shops for a bite to eat on the sea front. Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Good selection of yummy food, drinks, scones and cakes. All day breakfast and cream tea options available, as well as daily specials. High chair available. Enjoyed our visit will visit again.

Still offers a lovely walk down memory lane for the older generation and a clean & lovely environment. We hadnt been in for a few years and just a tad disappointed. The vegan options are really nothing except one dish, a veggie burger. I remember the large cake choices but only 2 on when we went and some muffins. Still offered a friendly warm welcome and seemed busy enough
