This old and extremely charming pub is a gem! The family running it is extremely welcoming and polite, which goes without saying into their great service. The food is divine, and there is a beautiful beer garden. Mind your head and the steps along the way and this was built in the 1500’s! 😂

This is a great pub! We popped in for a pint on Saturday after a walk and loved it so much we decided to return the next day for a Sunday roast (we were camping near by). I would recommend it! Eye wateringly expensive. Medium wine at £7.95 plus £1 for a splash of soda. Pint of Harveys at £5.50. Food excellent and well priced. Optional 12% service charge on bill total. Worth it though.

Very friendly staff and overall great experience
Unlike a certain other pub nearby, The Gallipot was immediately welcoming and friendly. Kelly and the rest of the staff were attentive and funny and very dog friendly too. The food was equally excellent, I can recommend the burger plate and the wife can recommend the brownie for pud!
