Its new Kulcha Express, struggling to meet the standards, need more kitchen staff. I prefer southall kulcha better, was looking forward to go to that branch again then north Harrow branch opened its ok but I will stick to southall branch for taste.
Forgot about alleged "home cooked food", just try this...I was amazed by the quality and price point. Forget about Taste Of Lahore for Biryanis. Lets get this right, this is not a south east Asian kebab shop, this is where you will get biryanis, currys and pilau. I have seen 2 other business fail on the same site, but their food was a little rubbish. This on the other hand is fantastic. They deliver after a certain time and could find them on Uber Eats.
I love supporting local business if they are good, and this was is genuinely so. It would not surprise me if the prices eventually go up over the next year, but for a take away, its not try to be pretentious. It juts sells good curry's.
I have had chicken and mutton biryani, chicken pilau and tilapia (fish) curry. My wife cannot get enough of this as she finds distinct similarities with Bengali flavours.
A takeaway for 1 should be more then £10 max. I cannot spend more then £25 feeding a family of 5 adults with very healthy appetites.
Swaadish - keep it up. And the service is good, both husband and wife (an assumption) are always smiling.
Has exceeded my expectations, the fried rice was unbelievably good! The boneless lamb karahi was extremely soft and had a very authentic taste. I have visited many similar restaurants and takeaways on the way home from work, however this by far has been the best yet. It is very reasonably priced in comparison to other places and it must be noted the food was better than many other places I have been such as Zamzam. I have never had Kothu Roti prior to my visit, yet it has now become a favourite of mine whenever I visit. The service is excellent, I have visited on several occasions and have never even had to wait longer than 2 or 3 minutes. One last Important fact I must point out, is that unlike other restaurants, THEY TAKE CARD!!! I cannot tell you how much of a relief it is to be able to pay via debit or credit card, I don't understand why all these small restaurants don't take it. This is a restaurant I shall continue to visit, I've not really seen anything quite like it.
I really enjoy getting my take away from here as it’s tastes like home cooked. They have a very good variety of Indian dishes at reasonable price, cleanliness is top and customer service and is great. I’d highly recommend to anyone who wants to try indian food.
Really good Kothu Roti, large portion size and only £3. Better flavour than other local places at a cheaper price. Will definitely try their kebab rolls next.
Proper Indian food as you'd get if you went to a dinner party at someone's home. We had the chicken curry, Aaloo and Chicken Biryani...all lovely. Will be going back to check out more of the dishes on offer.
Lovely food and great service! Their vada and beriyani were especially tasty. Very generous portions and great value for money, considering how great it tastes! I’ll be definitely be going back.
A very good mix of curries and snacks. I picked up a kheema Aloo and nans which tasted very much like made back home.
Briyani is so good with good price...Good taste in all variety of Indian dishes.. :-)
Best place to eat chicken biryani and very good price too !!!
