The chats in this place are amazing and have an authentic Indian taste. I loved the pav bhaji, pani puri, dahi puri and ofcourse the yummy vada pav.
I have ordered from here a couple of times.
Vada pav is ginger licking good and served with chutneys and green chilli. The alu wadi (patra) was extremely tasty and a traditional Gujarati Indian dish.
The sabudana khichadi was a huge disappointment filled with oil. It was literally floating on a bed of oil. Plus there was no toppings to it just plain white khichdi.
My go to place for Vada Pav, always! The chai is great too. When you need a quick desi bite, this is the place for you, in & out in 20 minutes flat. I just wish the place was a little bigger because during meal times, it's difficult to find a seat.
Feel like munching an economical vad pav and feel like being in Aamchi Mumbai ? Then this is the place for you.
Taste - Good.
Ambience - Not so great!
Value for money - Good.
After relocating in Rayners Lane, I think Shree Sai have made several improvements to the quality of their food. THE VADA PAV IS THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD!!! It's really nice and only £1. They seem quite popular, but they need to improve the appearance of the restaurant and clean it up. Will update once I've had more from there.
Best vada Pav I ever had in London . Apart from vadapav all other food items like Pav bhaji , misal Pav and chats are delicious and yummy . Everything is freshly made . It's worth coming again and again to shree sai vada Pav .keep it up
Food quality 5/5
Service 5/5
Place hygiene 5/5
Ambience 5/5
Food review : Shree Sai Vadapav (Rayners lane)
Fantastic misal at this place. The tarri (curry) is just right. However too much addition of chana in the mix ! Curry not the mild sweet ones you get at other places in London.
Good Punjabi samosa. Vada Pav just okish. Can be skipped.
Chai is good !!!
Just 1 min from Rayners Lane station.
Too hungry to click pics.
It is a challenge to find the real taste of Mumbai / Bombay street food in London. So when Shree Sai Vada pav opened up right outside Rayner's lane station, I was quite apprehensive if it would live up to the expectation, especially the Vada Pav. But after five visits to this place in the last month, I can say that all such apprehensions have been laid to rest ☺️. Every item on the menu - Vada pav, dabeli, misal, poha, Sabudaanaa khichdi - reminds you of the moments you would have savored in Mumbai. Do not miss this place :)
I just finished my job and I'm starving. Our group recently visited Shri sai vadapav at Rayners lane branch and I ordered Chinese bhel, partha, crispy vada burger, and tava pav bhaji. These things taste delicious and I definitely recommend you try them.
I’ll come first time but they service is to good they explain each item with specific ingredients 😊😊
We went here as a recommendation for vada pav, the food is really tasty and affordable. The vada pav is on point and definitely even better with extra chutney on the side. Worth a visit, there is so much to choose from on the menu!
We really like the Vada Pav here and always ask for a bit of extra chutney to make it taste even better as its a little bit dry without it in my opinion. The samosa chaat and grilled cheese bombay sandwich are also very tasty. My only complaint would be the 10% charge to sit in and especially as the floors, tables and menus were pretty dirty when we went on a Saturday evening. (It has a 3/5 rating on Scores on the Doors) We'll only be having take-out from here in the future.
Whenever we miss authentic Mumbai Street food we always end up here @ Shree Sai Vadapav, Rayners Lane. Our mouth waters and taste buds tantalise for the food and I am sure you have the same feeling looking at these pics. All yummy, I think by now we've tried most of their dishes and they have some special menu on weekends! Overall great menu and awesome taste we feel 😋🤩
Shree Sai Vada Pav deserves every bit of its 5-star rating! The misal pav they serve is an explosion of flavors in every bite, with its spicy, aromatic gravy and perfectly cooked sprouts, topped with crispy farsan. It's an absolute delight for spice lovers like me. And when it comes to pav bhaji, their rendition is unparalleled. The bhaji is rich, buttery, and teeming with a medley of vegetables, while the pav is always soft and buttery. The balance of flavors is impeccable, making it a must-try. Shree Sai Vada Pav has truly mastered the art of these beloved Mumbai street foods, and I can't recommend them enough for anyone craving an authentic taste of Maharashtra's culinary treasures.
A really nice place to visit for an Indian breakfast or vegetarian snacks. We particularly enjoyed the Masala Dosa as it was cooked to perfection. The masala tea was served in mud cups by the kind and welcoming staff. Improvement can be made on the quantities served. Overall a pleasant experience. I can't wait to try more of their dishes and rate the best.
This place is really a gem for indian food. We stopped here reading the reviews and now can’t stop boasting about it to our friends in London! Their vada pav and pav bhaji are a must try. Totally recommend! :)
Had Vada Pav, Misal Pav, Samosa Pav and Mirchi Bhajiya here. Taste of Misal Pav is 10/10, better than SKVP. It was as spicy as it should be. Personally I would prefer even more spicy but that's just my personal preference. But the consistency of Misal gravy could have been a bit thicker, like SKVP. Still, I would prefer having Misal Pav here instead of SKVP because of the authenticity of taste. Vada Pav and Samosa Pav was great as well. Would definitely visit again. Although there is a 10% eat in charge which I don't think is necessary.
Best experience in London. My friend from USA said this is the best Maharashtran food she had ever had 🥹
Staff is too good !
Food is mostly On point and great value for money. Lots of vegan options.... Its all veg by default. They can amend certain dishes too suit spice levels and other preferences.
Just go! You will thank me!
Closest samosa ( punjabi) I have had so far and yes I am a samosa fan!
A consistent food corner at rayners lane. This has become out go to place for vada pav and Indian masala chai. This place can do with the uplift on the sitting arrangements as that does not do justice to the delicious food they serve consistently.
If you want to try authentic Mumbai street food for a lucrative price, then this place is a must visit! We ate Vada Pav, Misal Pav, Pav Bhaji, Bhajiya, and Kulfi along with a lip-smacking special chai cutting (Chai-tea Mumbai style). Plus the ambiance is the way it is back home in Mumbai and the staff plus service is very nice. Give a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. 😊😊
Great Mumbai Street food in the heart of the town. Very very reasonable and quick service. There is loads of variety and value for money. Was missing the authentic taste of Mumbai though. Great effort by the friendly staff. Definitely will be going back to try more off the menu. Was missing this street food for many years, and hope they maintain the service the same way.
This is lovely cozy restaurant full of vegetarian delicacies from Indian Streets. I typically visit this place for takeaways. Today I decided to dine in for breakfast with family.
I have gluten allergic person in the house 🏠. We carried gluten free buns with us. When ordering vada pav and pav bhajji, we gave our gluten free buns. The staff was kind enough to custom prepare dishes using gluten free products.
Very recommend place.
Great Authentic taste at affordable price. Can complain about ambience and service at this price
