A fantastic restaurant with tasty food and welcoming staff. The seating is not very attractive but the food outways all the looks and appearance of the restaurant.

I came for dinner with my family and the servers were absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious and the portions large for the price. When we finished they gave plenty of amazing sweets and great tea. the restaurant itself has a homey feel to it which is refreshing for a nice peaceful dinner. Would definitely recommend for a nice dinner with friends or family.

Fantastic authentic Afghan cuisine and great hospitality! This is the most delicious Afghan food I’ve had from a restaurant. I would highly recommend the Mantu and Qabali Pulao and will definitely revisit soon!

Authentic Afghani cuisine. Very friendly staff. Small but welcoming restaurant.. Harrow council re-mordernised the area which got rid of constant drunkards roaming around. This restaurant is true to its culture and taste. Mantu, Qabuli pilow. Lush!!

This is an incredible restaurant in heart of Harrow which we accidentally stumbled upon. They serve delicious home-cooked Afghan food. We ordered the family set for 2-3 people and it was a lot of food. The Mantoo is a more flavourful and juicy version of Momo with a lot of garnishing and topping with like an Indian chat. The Qabali Pulao has well cooked cubes of lamb along with a lot of raisins and kebab. The Korma curry is unique in its taste, its spicy (not in the chilli sense), but oozing with spices.

Lovely restaurant and good food. Above all service was excellent. A short walk from Harrow & Wealdstone Station, off the High Street and opposite the post office. At the time of our visit they were not accepting card payments only cash.

We were invited by a family to dine there. As we went at 9pm, we managed to find parking without any issue. My first impression was that it seems like a takeaway rather than a reataurant. Not a very big seating area but enough to cater for small groups. When we visited, there were onky 2 couples there; it wasn't very busy. It is an Afghan cuisine restaurant. We orderd the Mazar family deal and it is very reasonable priced. The deal consisted of 6 different items for £49 which is great plus drinks and salad. The presentation of the food was good. My favourite was Mantoo which was like dumplings filled with minced beef and topped with yogurt and seasoning. It was really tasty and my kids enjoyed that the most, which i wasn't expecting. The next best was the Qabli Palow. Again this is the Afghani special rice and it was delicious with a lot of visible meat which was nice and tender. There was a lot of food for the 9 of us. After finishing up on the mains, we were served with 2 portions of sweet almonds and pot of green tea. Green tea was brewed perfectly and helped us digest our food. The service was very good. The staff were friendly and polite and kept asking if we needed anything else. Looking at the menu, i think the prices are reasonable and I would recommend Mazar to anyone who is interested in trying out Afghan cuisine. I also noticed it had 4* Hygiene rating which isn't bad either. A must try.

Food is good. To be London prices are not excessive. Staff were friendly. Just but annoying the music as one music on off all the time in speakers and another music coming from TV.

Was visiting Harrow so Google searched for the best halal restaurant in the area and this place came up on top, so I went for it. Firstly when you see the place you will think it looks run down a bit but was fully packed inside and now I know why. If you want home cooked styled Afghan food this is the place. We ordered a mix grill and the meat was amazing, soft and juicy and flavorful, lamb chops best I ever had. Then we also got a lamb and chicken curry and once again tasted so authentic, literally served home cooked style, none of that fancy plate or pots for servings just plain white standard home plates. This place is a must visit if you really want the best home cooked Afghan food.

I love Mazar in Wealdstone and have been going there for several years. The owner and the staff are always so friendly and helpful - I almost want to help them clear the tables and wash the dishes for them! The food is always very tasty and authentic. I took my mother on my latest trip and we had the Chicken Quorma and Chicken Kebab. And we had a special green minty dip which was totally amazing. The Quorma was the highlight. I can't wait to go back again, and neither can my mother.
