Good restaurant for family outing good food. Large portions served
We hosted a family get together with 60 people and hired the private Gaana hall adjacent to the restaurant. The food service was quick and efficient - there was only 1 waiter attending to us however he was extremely quick on his feet and looked after us well. He had a very positive attitude and body language made us feel at home. The food as always was of good quality and standard - the starters were enjoyed the most by everyone. We had more vegetarian guests than expected but the team were quick to sort food out for them. Thank you to the team for hosting us - special thanks to Surya for taking care of all our needs especially for doing all the hard-work with a smile on his face.
I liked the food very much. This is the best option if you are from India (as well) .
I like Kothu parotta/Kothu rotti (obviously its different from what I used to have in India). This Kothu parotta is like Sri Lankan style. I have also tried prawn briyani and it was very nice.
If you order 2kothu then it is more than enough for 2persons.
They also have toilets.
Tip: If you choose take away option then the prices will be slightly lower than what's there on the menu.
We had a lovely experience. At the Gana restaurant. The service was very professional by Mr Surya who looked after us very well. He was very friendly and explained to us clearly and precisely about the food items. And the service is also fast. We highly recommend this restaurant. It is a must-visit for sure and deserves 5*

Surya did a great job. He is a very thoughtful person, as the food was very spicy and came forward and offered a yogurt. Service is excellent. Highly recommended to our family and friends

Reasonable price, quick service, tasty food. But Gana special devilled a bit expensive for two people. Also waited for kothu a bit longer. Very good customer service. Overall Highly recommended for family dining in.
Best Srilanka & South Indian food in the UK. Authentic taste just like having food in Srilanka or Tamil Nadu India.
Today we went third time, we like the food specially devilled chicken or prawn, chicken noodles, squid dry fry and nethily fry was served by Guhan, very nice person
We got served by a lovely lad named Suriya. Customer service was amazing. He took care of us and satisfied the 12 of us who went out to eat. Definitely recommend
My absolute favourite Sri Lankan place! There’s a great climbing centre nearby so we like to go there and work up an appetite just so we can eat more at Gana :) and even then we order enough for leftovers, because it’s just that good. And it isn’t too expensive either!
Definitely try the marai fry, the kothu roti, and the red Jaffna aubergine curry - also, the lumprais is very good, it’s basically a self contained meal. And if you like your spice - ask for your food spicy and you’ll get your wish.
Very tasty South Indian food, good portion with friendly service. Great selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Clean and tidy with a reasonable price overall. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Indian Lunch items are exceptionally good. Lovely food. Tried the Lamb rice and Chicken Kothu roti. Ask for the curry as accompanying dish for kothu roti. Will visit again for sure.
