Reviews Two Buns

I only just noticed this restaurant about a week ago, and admittedly it does appear to be a bit of a hodge podge of a similar name to Five Guys and a similar logo to Shake Shack. But don't let that put you off, it's better than a knock off. I opted for the better burger (which to me also sounds like butter burger (but that's from a chain not in the UK), which appeared to be the smallest burger on the menu. I considered one with three patties, but just went with the two patty option instead. I was glad that I did - it was fairly big itself! Very good value for the price, and certainly the best burger I've had in Harrow by miles and miles and miles. They obviously smash the party from a round, which I love as you get all the crunchy bits around the edge. They're thin enough that they're all done the same way - which as far as I'm concerned is perfectly cooked. The contents of the burger were perfectly designed to complement everything. The bun was better than the one I had from Shake Shack midweek, and the raw onion cuts through the richness of the meat. The two buns sauce is good - I need to try it again. At times there was spice and at other times a thousand island-type tang. Very interesting to eat. The fries were solid skin on fries. I'd happily have those at any gourmet burger chain (and I do hope this becomes a chain). Certainly this is the best thing to happen to the West London burger scene since That Burger closed in Watford.

My daughter and I dined at the Ealing location for lunch and it was great!! The food was fresh, and the service was excellent. We had the belter burger with fries. Many of the other dishes we saw other diners with looked super as well. The owners Romale and Andy stopped at our table to make sure we were enjoying our dining experience. They were very hospitable and welcoming to us first timers to London. If you are in area, stop here for a meal that you will be sure to enjoy!!!

The wife and I have been going here since it opened. Consistently had nothing but a great experience all round from the actual burgers to the service itself. This is definitely in our top 3 burger restaurants for London!

Great place for Halal burgers in a similar style to some of the gormet burger joints. Loved the sweet potato fries. Went for the basic burger 'the better burger' as the one with "beef bacon" and egg sounded awesome but I couldn't manage a massive burger. Highly recommend the Grilled One which is a chicken burger. Great alternative for halal food! Great staff too!

I eat waaaayyyy to many burgers. I mean it's embarrassing. I have low iron so I figure there's at least that going for all the red meat, and as I'm not a big fan of fries, I generally don't get them. So when I was craving a burger, I convinced my other half to give this place a go and yum! The burger was really very good - nice crunchy bits, lots of flavour, and a bit greasy (a dried out burger is the pits, and this definitely was not dry!) I don't normally eat halal beef and I did notice a different taste to the meat, subtle though. It might have nothing to do with the halal-ness and just be the blend. It was a little different but still tasty. I also went for a side of mozzarella sticks because fried cheese, amirite? But they weren't great - just bog-standard bought-in frozen ones. Still ate them, though. I thought at about ÂŁ10-12 for a drink, a better burger (which was the size of a Five Guys double) and my cheese, the price was reasonable. The service was friendly, the food quick, and overall I really enjoyed my visit!

Two Buns in Harrow is a must-try for burger lovers. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. The toppings are fresh and the buns are soft and fluffy. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, making it a great place to grab a quick bite. Overall, a great spot for a tasty and filling burger.

The burgers here are so good! Tastes and looks amazing, I’ve been here twice now and both times it didn’t disappoint. I had the club burger and the buffalo chicken burger and both were great, they do a variety of chips as well and got milkshakes to accompany my food. It is very filling and worth the price.

One of the best place for fast food, really rasty burger, amazing chicken wings and delicious buffalo fries. This place got halal food. After 6 pm free parking in St, George's (just 5 min walk from two buns.)

Great ambiance , great food. They need to start accepting cards. Trouble of getting cash out just to pay them. Worth the money. Burgers were exceptionally fantastic, crispy fries and the bbq bone less wings was out of the world.

Hands down the best tasting burgers. We thought of trying them out with the 'eat out to help out' scheme. There was a queue so I was a little apprehensive about getting a seat soon and our order sooner..but I must say, they handled it quite well. The manager was cool and respectful. We ordered at the counter, had to pay by cash only. Within 5-10 mins we had our order on our table..and taste wise it was yumm!! Even the kids meal (burgers) were tasty. To add to this, the service was top notch..special mention to Manuel, he is a superstar who made our evening awesome. I could see the kitchen busy, but the staff looked happy and we're having fun. They loved being there. Definitely visiting again.

Two Buns do some very good burgers. And though, as a new establishment, a few require some tweaking, there's no denying the flavourful taste of their signature: The Better Burger. It's obvious that a lot of thought has gone into perfecting this little beauty; though that's precisely what it is, little, especially given its price. In any case, this fast food/ eat-in restaurant is impressively designed. With a seating capacity of 48, it's roomy and spacious.

Love this place, found it on a halal food page and it exceeded expectations. The first time I went I loved it so much I went back the next day! Burgers are fantastic and they have really good prices. I’m a big fan of their sweet potato fries - the loaded fries are all good, but a little too much for me personally. They have other sides as well, so there’s good variety. The staff are always very welcoming - during Ramadan, they were even handing out dates for Iftar time when we went. If you’re looking for a classic cheeseburger that hits the spot, this place is definitely your go-to! The only thing I’d say is that their milkshakes aren’t the best - I can only vouch for the strawberry one but it tasted rather artificial. This may just be my preference, but do keep that in mind. Overall, this place is a family favourite and we go back regularly! *This place is cash only. Not a big issue as there are ATM’s just across the street, but as a lot of people rely on contactless and don’t carry cards, it’s just something to note.

Really good overall. Staff were friendly, personable and helpful. They know their menu well and happy to explain anything. Food tasted great, and was presented really well. I wish the patties could have been a little thicker, but they were definitely good quality meat and had been seasoned properly. Thought the price was pretty reasonable too. Although cash only is inconvenient. Just a note, the music in the restaurant was good, but a minute of ads in between songs takes you out of the experience a bit!

Great new Halal burger place. Ordered the 'hot one' bbq grilled and some beef chilli cheese fries. Tasty! Prices wise, it's moderate. Burgers were juicy and had a good amount of flavour. Only downside at the moment, is that they only accept cash as they haven't got card system up and running yet. No bother, hopefully they'll have it the next time round. Staff are friendly and food timing was about 7-8 Mins. Nice atmosphere aswell.

Came here on the spur of the moment. I had heard some good things about this place, and I was about to understand why. I asked for their signature burger and was duly informed it was the burger at the top of the menu. The better burger. Chips came as an extra, which is expected for this type of burger joint. As you can see from the pictures, the burger isn't huge nor gourmet looking - but don't let that fool you. The quality certainly surpassed the quantity. Perhaps I'm being a bit cheeky about the size, because by the end, I was pretty full. I've had Angus beef burgers that tasted a lot less juicy and lacking flavour. However, at Two Buns, the burger tasted fantastic. It was well cooked, not overdone, well presented and delicious. I think they should consider adding gherkins as part of the burger, as I added it, and for me, made it a more complete tasting burger. All in all, a five star burger at a reasonable price. Get your beef burger fix here. You won't be disappointed.

Burgers were delicious, there's no doubting that. But it was a bummer that the fries had to be bought separately as well as the drink. A little on the costly side for what it was, however, tasted delicious!

Hipster burger place in Harrow. Surprising and unique! Burgers are styled after shake shack. We ordered the better burger (their base burger), the buffalo chicken burger and the better fries. The burger was good overall, but I think the cheese overpowered the burger slightly so you couldn’t really taste the beef. The chicken was good, hot and spicy and juicy but lacked the solid crunch you want from crispy batter. Fried were decent, supposedly hand cut in store! Would visit again if I was in Harrow!

Still one of the best burgers around, never let down. Triple Hot One with mushroom sauce is the one to go for!
