Very dog friendly pub with the best Sunday roast and extremely friendly staff (10 months ago). Revisited this pub today. We sat on the terrace this time. The plates of food looked bigger than last time. I had the best roast beef - 3 large slices of tender beef. The apple sauce went well with roast pork. Although fish and chips was a bit pricey, the fish tasted very good even without tartar sauce.

Came in a Sunday afternoon, glad we booked and it was bustling. The staff were really friendly and attentive, I had the roast beef which was lovely and pink. My partner had the pork roast and although the crackling was good the pork was quite dry. The roast vegetables were nice. Nice beer and ale selection, would recommend coming and booking. There's also a lovely outdoor seating upstairs with a view in the summer.

This is the first time me and my family went for dinner at this pub. My mum had the fish and chips, my sister had the nut roast and myself had the pork roast. The only complaint I have was that the portions were too big as I was unable to have dessert.

Popped in the Castle today as my son as just moved to the area. A lovely little place with friendly staff. We had the Duck and the Chicken/Mushroom pie, which was really nice, and reasonably priced. Looking forward to my next visit.

Pwoarrr !!! very good vegan roast dinner Top marks. The only thing missing is a plant based pud. But I was pretty full tbh. Some of the ice creams are plant based though. Loved it. Great place. Authentic English pub vibes and great staff.

This has to be in the top 10 most underrated pubs in North London List. I walked into his pub feeling hungry and also felt like getting a pint down me. I'm pleased I parted with my hard earned money at this place for the Sunday Roast as it was cooked to perfection. I ordered the Roast Loin of South Coast Pork with Crackling of course which came was served with a yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese and a gravy that complimented the whole thing. Absolutely smashing. If you come here for a Sunday Roast you won't be disappointed. Moreover, this pub has a great selection of beers and ales on tap and ample seating space for all types of people. A great pub to enjoy a weekend in if you're looking to relax and spend some money on yourself or with friends and family.

An absolutely charming looking pub with friendly staff and lots of outdoor space. A very pleasant surprise, tucked away from the main road. We didn't have any food this visit but will definitely return.

A lovely pub, full of character. The only problem with it is the accessibility. Right up the top of the hill. Uneven uphill pavements and very difficult to park at busy times.

This is a lovely social place, keeping a traditional feel of an English pub and adding a modern Mediterranean style of an outdoor space. Their fish and chips came highly recommended, which was what I had and it deserves a thumbs up. Don't forget to order an apple crumble and coffee for desert!

Beautiful pub that takes you back in time; Victorian building and interiors in a stunning part of Harrow. Was our first visit and it was a wonder as to why we hadn’t visited prior! Will definitely be making this a regular spot. Great options for all, including vegetarians and vegans. Went for the vegan Sunday roast; nut roasts can be unimpressive and boring usually but this one was amazing! Food is fresh so not like your average pub meal and was thoroughly pleased with the beverages available too, opted for the Cornish Orchards Hedgerow. Salted Caramel dessert was also great. Great service, friendly and attentive. Little gem in the heart of Harrow-on-the-Hill.

We sat outside and ordered food. Typical pub fare. Reasonably priced and arrived quickly. The haddock was a generous sized portion. Bar and waiting staff both very nice. Would eat there again. Dog friendly place, several other patrons also had their pooches.

Great child friendly pub, perfect for dining when it's sunny. Food was really good. Would recommend although they didn't seem to have quite enough staff on for the demand.
