One the best food service I have seen in London as well as food was delicious, specially my favourite dish is methi gota and saag paneer , specially I suggest to at least visit one time thank you
One of my favourite place to be and with regards to food I have less comments purely it meets all our requirements when it comes vegetarian food must try Pani Puri which is one of the best.
Restaurant is beautifully furnished with a very nice Bar.Inside is so cosy, colourful and has a friendly atmosphere. It has split level seating areas and spacious which adds to its character. The servers are very helpful. The food, drinks and cocktails are excellent. It's worth paying a visit.
Lovely food specialty the Kenyan Chicken was fantastic love it other food was great too
Staff where best and polite this was my 2nd visit both time was awesome
Visited this evening - went to a local pub and asked locals for recommendations for good food and they recommend blue ginger... They did say to book though so a quick Google search and phone call and a half hour later for a table and we were there. The restaurant is big and was very busy but we were shown to our table and was quickly and attentively seen to by a few waiters but stand out service and conversation with Ali was 5* this evening. Amazing food and evening better amazing service. Highly recommended and would definitely return if in the area.
Excellent veg and non veg food, lollipop chicken, chops and methi gota to die for.
Really nice food and nice atmosphere must recommend to go
Atmosphere is friendly and family orientated. Staff are also friendly. The food is amazing loved the garlic nan bread 10 out of 10 definately recommend.
Been here couple of times and would love to continue again. Recommend it for delicious starters, Chaat and actually everything. It's huge and Love the decor.
very nice restaurant...I love dal makhni of this place.Perfect location.good service and very helpful and cooperative team.Perfect place for business meet as well as family get together
I went to blue ginger on my birthday and it was by far one of the best decisions I made,
For starters I ordered :
- Dhai Puri
The Dhai puri is so soft that it will melt inside your mouth
-Paneer Chilli
Paneer chilli was good, I'd say it was a bit sweet but I usually prefer it to be a bit more chilli but I'd still give that 4/5
- Sheekh Kebab
Again really soft again value for money? maybe but its worth trying
For Main course I ordered :
Dal Makhni - the quantity was really good, it was more than enough for a family of 4.
Paneer Burji - another 5/5 dish
overall the quantity served in main course is fairly reasonable compared to any other restaurant.
Do visit Blue Ginger to have a great experience.
Awesome food and great service, snacks are too good and yummy..lamb.. chilly patato.. Corn.. Passion fruit juice.. Ambience is very good.. Very warm. It's worth to visit
I have been there twice, the food was good and a it was a nice spot to hang out and have a few drinks and indian snacks with a good ambiance.
The starters here are nice and tasty but I'v never had a chance to get to try out the mains here. But the staff is always on point and the crowd is always good
Great food ,service brilliant , staff great ,IF YOU CAN STOP THEM CLICKING THE B*&/$#* y Pens all the time try having a drink at the bar, so annoying .
I Have visited several times. The atmosphere is great and good service. staff members are polite. They have good food menu. They serve excellent food in Indo-Chinese cuisine. Would definitely recommend it.
I and my family were on our holiday and many had recommended us this place.. So we went there with our friends on our last day of the trip.. The place is huge and ambience quite nice.. We had ordered 3 starters : methi gotta, chilli honey potato and chilli paneer.. When it came we were surprised with its quantity.. Really good quantity.. Methi gotta and chilli honey potato were really nice and tasty.. Chilli paneer though the sauce was decent in taste but paneer was very chewy.. So didn't like that much.. For the main course we had ordered rotis and spicy vegetable makhni.. Roti was freshly made but the veggie was the biggest disappointment.. There was something definitely OFF about it.. When we complained they immediately addressed it and asked if we would like to change or reorder something else but by then our mood was quite off to order and hence we asked for the cheque.. They didn't charge us for the veggie.. Overall it was a good experience..
The best part about this pub cum diner is the ambience and drinks which they serve, great place for family or friend outing for a drink or two or only dinner, have been here couple of times and it never disappoints me.
For me, this restaurant is the best restaurant around as it is a Indian restaurant for Indians and the food hasn't been Anglicised so yeah all good.
This restaurant is a firm favourite with the family as its not too far to gather the whole family together and let's just say the portions are huge because no joke, they definitely are huge.
One of the finest dinning places I have been to In london . I happen to go there because I had been craving good Indian food in London . Have tried all vegetarian dishes there. The mushrooms were nicely cooked and were spicy to my taste . The paneer was superb. The service was quick enough . Loved the food , the location . I am someone who doesn't repeat places but I would love to go here again just to try the non vegetarian dishes now.
Its a must go for all those in London.
Its located near kenton.
Blue Ginger is a nice evening out and fairly good food. The place itself is nicer than most of the "Indian Pubs" in the area. The food is quite good, although flavour wise there are better places for my taste. All in all a good score of 4/5
While I have yet to visit a lot of Indian restaurants here in London, from the feedback of others I believe this is one of the best tasting Indian restaurants in town. This certainly influenced my decision to go there with my relatives when I went to visit them.
The crowd and the food, when I tasted it, definitely assured me of it's popularity.
Being all vegetarians, we ordered Garlic Chilli Mushrooms and Crispy Bhindi-n-Spinach for starters. The garlic chilli mushrooms were delicious, soft and succulent and perfectly seasoned. The crispy bhindi-n-spinach was a surprise as I was not sure whether I would like this combination (not being too big a fan of spinach, you see) however was pleasantly surprised and I actually enjoyed the dish.
For the mains, we ordered Paneer Bhurji and Spicy Vegetable Makhni. Both dishes were prepared very well and almost seemed like a preparation straight out of an Indian (India based) restaurant and that is a big compliment.
The accompaniments were tandoor breads like butter naan and plain roti as well as poppadoms and raita.
Overall a very impressive setup and certainly one of the most popular eat out in that area.
Excellent food. Mixed Asian menu. Desi all the way. Chinese Desi also. Bindhi masala and Chilli naan. Lounge and sports bar here too. Try.
PROS- Tasty starters, had the sheekh kebab and the tandoori chicken wings, both were cooked well and had good flavour, sheekh kebab was 2 long pieces as opposed to 4 kebabs which restaurants usually serve for the same price, naan bread was light and fluffy, keema mince curry was flavourful and not too oily, we had to change the dhal makhani as it was not very nice - they immediately changed it for a dhal tadka which was decent of them. Portions were also good size. Good customer service.
CONS- Parking can be difficult if the onsite parking is full, if you don't book you will be given a square cushion stool and very very low table so not very comfortable to have dinner on- Basically the bar/lounge tables. So make sure you book your table before going.Prices are on the higher side when comparing other Indian restaurants.
Authentic Indian meal in NW London. An Indian friend promised to take me for an authentic Indian meal, just the way they do over there and we spent the evening at Blue Ginger in Kenton.
The place is spilt between a sport bar and a large restaurant which makes the environment very different to the usual curry houses. I was surprised the number of Asian families filling up completely every single table.
We had two vegetarian starters and two veggie mains, nicely presented, cooked to perfection and incredibly well spiced. Naan breads were also impressive. All quite hot if you are used to the ordinary British tikka massala sauce but I would recommend a go at Blue Ginger to anyone and I will definitely go back for more.
Food - 4.5 / 5 - Very delicious! The most authentic Indian restaurant I have been to in London so far! 'Methi na Gota' (fritters, with fenugreek leaves) is a must-order dish! Everything from starters to the paan in the end was just great!
Ambiance - 4 / 5 - Standard indoor restaurant ambiance, with huge screens running bollywood songs, if that's your kind of thing.
Service - 3.5 / 5 - I must say it was slow, but probably it was because of diwali rush.
Cost - 16 quids per head, for a sumptuous dinner! Worth it.
Well one more on my list of GOOD INDIAN CUISINE restaurant.
Founded real taste resembling exactly Mumbai spices(imported from India).Nice sitting order always in my words more like a sports bar. Walking distance from nearest tube station.Good service, great quality and also has a nice variety and long list of starters both veg and non veg starters.Anyone who wants a delicious Indian food its a must visit.
Try this - Bombay mix,chilly chicken,lamb chops,chicken tikka masala.
I recently went back to Blue Ginger and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was great and the service was top-notch. The food and drinks were of good quality, and they had a nice selection of beers. However, they did not have Heineken available, only Heineken Zero. The portion sizes of the starters we ordered were very generous. Overall, it was a great visit. Thank you.
Blue Ginger offers a truly delightful dining experience. The honey and sesame paneer is a revelation, with a perfect balance of sweetness and nuttiness that will leave you craving more. The garlic naan is simply delicious, with just the right amount of garlic flavor and a soft, fluffy texture. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you won't leave the restaurant hungry. Additionally, the food arrived quickly, allowing for a seamless dining experience.
However, it's worth noting that parking can be a bit challenging. The spaces are narrow and can be hard to find, which may require some patience and maneuvering.
Great quality of service, quick enough on food delivery
Liked mojito- Passional Island, Rice, Dal, naan
But paneer butter masala has really disappointed this time as expected, spicy, and tasted sweet, which ruined all mood although could find some fried chilly to cover up taste.
We decided to try this restaurant after hearing about their 15% vegetarian week discount. On a Tuesday evening, the car park was already packed, and this was a promising sign of the food to come! They have a wide variety of vegetarian choices, and food was served promptly by very enthusiastic waiters and waitresses. My only issue is that despite the discount, the meal was expensive. We ordered sev papdi chaat, chilli paneer, honey glazed paneer (the best dish out of them all), crispy bhajia & naan. For dessert, the gajar halwa was delectable. The total came up to £60 for these few items (with a discount)!! For that reason alone, I think it would not be worth visiting again. A nice touch was that they have a separate no garlic/onion menu & a no-spice menu.
Really upped their game in the past few years and even though they're always so busy, service and food was given at a high standard. We didn't have a reservation (that's a fault from our end), but we were able to have drinks from the bar and the staff took us to our table within 10-15 minutes.
Great tasting food with a lovely atmosphere which is suitable for all the family and or friends for any occasion or too just chill out
The Indian appetizers specially the mogo and the corn are good . The tofu and mogo are made with the same sauce. The passion juice is a definate try.
I thought the food came out quickly which was a bit suspicious because felt like it was all predone. Most of it tasted okay! But the egg in our curry was cold in the middle. I also found it weird that they specified when asking for payment that service charge wasn't included (felt like they were asking for it). The best dish was the garlic chilli mogo.
Been coming here for many many years and the food is always on point. Great Asian fusion options plus great Indian and Chinese options too. Nice atmosphere and family friendly restaurant. Staff are always helpful and polite and service is very good. They also have a big projector screen and TV screen around the restaurant showing the football. Big selection of beer and spirits. I think the main dishes are not as good as the starter dishes so we normally just order the latter. The sesame honey chicken, salt and pepper prawns and crispy lamb are delicious. Overall highly recommended!
Great place and great service. I had chicken lollipop, chilli lamb and fried corn for starters - excellent taste. Then I went for chicken korma and garlic naan - naan and korma curry was great but chicken tasted out of flavour.
One of the best restaurant where you will get varieties of Indian dishes. I went with few of my office colleagues and loved the food. It has ample parking facility, good ambience and amazing tasty food. Highly recommended!
Great place for catching up with friends or having a celebration over food and drinks.
Staff are always amazingly attentive and polite, the food is different levels of tasty with a great variety on the menu. It's always not to long of a wait for a table or food and a great atmosphere either inn the dining area or the bar. We drive all the way from Basingstoke to come and eat here, best starters ever, there just no curry like it anywhere else..
Indo- Chinese food was good. Indian food not so much. Main course took ages to come. Service could have been better. Drinks served were flat. Kulfi was over sweet and I could taste the milk powder so not worth ordering.
Nice place for an Indian, the menu has loads of different options and some things you can't get anywhere else which is nice. I have been coming for a few years now and the standard of food never disappoints however I have noticed some portions have decreased in size. Bookings are not required but I would recommend just incase the restaurant is very busy on that day

Dear Keyur,
A massive thank you for the brilliant arrangements at Blue Ginger yesterday. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event, and the services were top notch.
The food was scrumptious and the whole setup was exceptional.
A special thanks to Rohit who worked hard to make our event successful. He kept us constantly informed about arrangements for starters, dinner and desserts.
