The best fish and chips shop I've ever been. Has eat in and take away. Heard a lot of great tho be about this place. It's won a few awards and has a lot praise from people I know. Not too far from the station.
There's a take away section and eat in section of the restaurant. Doesn't look like much from the outside. I felt like I walked into a fancy restaurant when I set foot in the restaurant. Great ambience and atmosphere. Hand painting fish and crab art on the walls. Honestly looks great. Adds colour to the restaurant.
Staff were great and polite. Very helpful and attentive. I wanted some more drink and the waiter clearing the table behind us overheard and offered to help.
Best fish and chip shop I ever been to. Cost a little more than others. But you're paying for quality food and service. I ordered the battered salmon (cos I love salmon) chips and had some Apple juice. Brother ordered the same but cod and orange juice. Was gonna get the jacket potaton as it's an option but wasn't on eating jacket potato.
Fish was fresh and delicious. Thr chips werent so greasy and oily either. Could have been fresh potato since it was soo full of flavour and didn't tasted like your typical chips. Always a plus in my book. Fish wasnt oily either. You get a large portion of fish and chips. So you're getting a lot of value here. Tartar sauce ad ketchup come with your order but had order the mushy peas separate. They actually have a lot of options and side dishes on the menu.
When we came In here there were a few older people and friends eating in. We kinda stuck out like a sore thumb since we weren't dressed so "presentably" (tracksuit and hoodie bro) But staff didn't treat us any differently and I don't think the people around cared so much. Staff and customer service is one of the reasons I gave it 5. It was just great and food was great too.
Great place for anniversaries, birthdays or bringing your date or lady friend here. Service is great and food is great. Would definitely come back here again. Quite an intimate setting and really enjoyed myself here. Highly recommended. 5*.
This place has the best chips! Love their Garlic sauce; also, they are not stingy with their sauces.
You will usually find a queue here, but it doesn't take more than 10 minutes.
I have to have their chips at least twice a month!

The best fish and chip shop in the area, based in Queensbury on the main road. Great take away, and you can eat in too. The place is always busy and so you know the food is fresh.

Best sea food delivery we've ever had !
Had a delivery of grilled fish, and it arrived still very warm - fresh and tasty. We could not recall a better sea food meal !!! As well we made a mistake with the order - and the restaurant helped us to correct it in a very polite and professiknal manner. The grilled fish kebab and the calamary are highly recommended !!!

Today I had a lovely nights out with my friend.I had some batter fillet of Haddock with nice and fresh crispy chips it was absolutely delicious. The fish was really fresh and tasty. Really impressed with the service! We will surely come back
Brilliant chippy living up to its great local reputation. Went on a Friday with queues outside. The portions are a good size and quality of food is great. Could take a risk and offer more veggie options.
Easily one of the best fish and chips I have ever eaten - and I have had a few in my days. Their fish has always been fresh every time I have come. The batter is perfect and not overly thick. The chips are classic thick and chunky and fried just right. The prices are higher than most fish and chips joints but - my goodness - you do get a very large serving of fish! Service is fast and efficient. Most of the diners are regulars and local. A good sign of good food. By the way - they are closed for the last two weeks of August for staff holidays.
Update: 7 Oct 2022: haven't been back for 3 years because of C-19. A change of ownership and it tastes even better. I love their chunky potato chips perfectly cooked with the crisp outside and piping hot potato inside. That piece of fried Skate is 16 inches long and every inch super delicious!
I had the grilled lemon sole - it was absolutely the most tasty fish I'd ever had. A real melt in the mouth experience to be savoured to the last mouthful. The service was friendly a d helpful and the price was reasonable. Definitely worth going.
