A really nice independent and welcoming place, whether you’re wanting a drink or a lunch-style bite to eat. There’s plenty of seating inside as well as a small terrace out the front, which is great to sit in watching the world go by. The staff behind the bar are really friendly and with the ‘dogs welcome’ policy it has a real community vibe. Prices are reasonable and there’s a good range of options available too. A great asset to the area!
Amazing food - fascinating and unusual menu. Delicious to the max. The manager type fella came and explained the food to us - really interesting learning. Cocktails were superb - again a superb menu / curation. Staff were all very friendly and nice. The ales were also great - would have loved a cask in the mix but non the less all good. We went as a group of 4 and we were joined by a friend who happened to be walking past and saw us and popped in for a drink with us - he liked it too! Will definitely go back and would recommend.
Easily one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Every dish was beautifully presented, very tasty, lots of fresh ingredients served as soon as it was ready. Great wine, fantastic front of house team who were friendly, happy to recommend and help in any way. Great cocktails, very busy with a good atmosphere with groups of friends and couples out for the evening. Need a branch of this in Lincoln!!
Between the 5 of us we ordered most things on the menu. All were excellent, especially the steak, the corn ribs and the belly pork. The menu changes fairly regularly too so a good place to revisit.
The negatives were that the dip (paprika mayo) cost £1.50 and the beer selection was lacking.
They had 8 craft beer taps with sours, strong hoppy beers, larger and very weak beers. No session beer though which was disapointing.
We had cocktails until late and ended spending over £400 between the group. Maybe charge less for the dip.
You could easily spend far less and still have a good night.
Such a nice bar, service is always friendly and welcoming, and I just love their beer and cocktails! Super dog friendly too! Can't complain! 🫶🏼🥃🍻🐾😁
First time I've been here but as my friends have moved round the corner I doubt it'll be the last.
We came round for a few drinks and I tried a house lager (I think it was anyway) which tasted great and then a diet coke as I was designated driver. My partner and friend both had a couple of ciders as to which they loved too.
The place is child and dog friendly and the staff and who I assume the owner were also very friendly and attentive. There's also a nice outside area for when the weather's a bit less... British.
I'll be back next time I'm over in Harrogate. 😊
An absolute gem! Great beer, fantastic cocktails and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!
What a joy . I would best describe this as a creative Asian style street food tapas restaurant combines with a craft beer pub ?? It’s been open for year in our town and we only just heard about it . Sensational sharing plates - super creative menu - served by enthusiastic staff . In London people would queue round the block for food like this and the price would be three times as much .
Great value - can’t wait to go again !
What a find! Absolutely delicious food and cocktails served quickly. Staff were personable, friendly and helpful, and welcomed our retriever with biscuits and water!
Great ambience in a cool setting with a seated area, bar and outdoors seating as well as the tables and booths. We went on a Saturday night and stayed for a couple of hours, others around us were a mix of groups of friends and couples, of all different ages. Frog was recommended to us by a friend and it was spot on, we’ll be back many times i suspect! 😊
Really excellent! Very imaginate delicious menu, great choice of beers, attentive service, only dropped a star as it was so quiet when we went midweek.
