The fish and chips here are absolutely superb. Generous portions and good value.
Hands down the best thing to happen to Harrogate, best fish and chips, huge portions and really decent prices to. My number one chippy to go to and I highly recommend trying it out. My friends have and they don't go anywhere else now.
Always stop off here on my way home from working at local racecourses .. after 9 hours on my feet to have,such great food before my journey home .

Honestly the fish bites and chips I ordered was enough to feed 2 people, I cant imagine how large the portions would be on the large fish and chips!

Great fish and chips and curry sauce.. best I've had in a long time! The staff were lovely and friendly .. a proper northern welcome (I'm from down south 😊 ) will make this my regular chippy when I visit family in future

Called in Friday evening as driving by on main road and there were parking spaces available (noticed it on my way to B&Q)had fish, chips and mushy peas, all were great & fish was fantastic , only looked a young fryer but he obviously knew what he was doing, rest of staff friendly, will definitely call again when I am in the area, and will probably try something else as the menu looked great with plenty of different things 👍🏻
Fast and friendly service, All orders were well prepared and fair price. Only suggestion from me would be to maybe consider offering the vegan pukka pies or vegan sausages as options.

Best fish chips and haggis had in a very long time and I live near the east coast with whitby scarborough bridlington and hornsea all within an hour had the special haddock absolutely on point thick white flakes , as my other half originates from the west Highlands of Scotland I will be bringing her for my next visit to try the haggis Ps couldn't eat most of the chips didn't want to think having haddock and haggis the portions were small the exact opposite tbh

Recent change of management prompted me to try this chip shop for the first time in 4 years. Chips were perfection; crispy and golden in colour. Fishcake is the best I have had in Harrogate - ever. Best thing is, it's round the corner from my house. Before today, I have been trekking across town to a highly recommended chippy. No longer need to, so please keep your impressive standards to this high level!
I'm never going to another chippy in Harrogate ever again - this is the real thing, proper fish and chips like you get at the seaside!

Having owned two fish & chip shops I am very critical & fussy. On route to Preston from Durham in an Artic (not easy to find parking but not everyone has an Artic)I decided to call into The Wharfe, on entering I was greeted with a smile & general chatter all the staff were helpful and friendly, I ordered Cod & Chips £7:50, seen the same elsewhere a lot more expensive, everything was cooked to perfection & throughly enjoyable. The best Fish & Chips I have had in a long time, highly recommended & will be back soon.
