Lovely hotel and typical Warner food and entertainment. The walk around the grounds is lovely. Ripley Castle is a 30 min walk away and if you want a day out in the car there are too many places to mention. Staff at the hotel are very friendly

We’ve just returned from a weekend at Nidd Hall. On arrival The staff were very friendly and polite. The room was good and warm on arrival. I had booked a pedicure for my husband. The info about the treatment sounded just what he needed. A warm foot soak followed by the pedicure Then a relaxing foot and leg massage. All In a quiet environment. The therapist talked throughout the treatment about herself and family. His feet never touched water and the foot and leg massage didn’t happen. The Brasserie menu was the same every day and didn’t always come with the stated ingredients. The lounges were very cold in the evening consequently they were empty of guests Not everyone wants to be in the pavilion room A little more attention to detail and staff training wouldn’t come a miss. So for food A 3 star Hotel & grounds A 4 star Spa A 3 star.

Stayed 5th May for 2 nights, booked a new room but, unhappy as too close to car park traffic.. I requested another room & a most helpful lady (Julia) arranged with manager (Shaun) to relocate us in the Swaledale so many thanks for making a much needed break special... The entertainment staff were great, waiters & room staff all excellent. The grounds are beautifully kept. Well done Nidd Hall looking forward to our next visit.

The hotel was really clean with efficient and friendly staff, the food was beautiful, and we'll presented. The gardens are beautiful and well looked after, and the whole site was really clean and exceptionally tidy. Overall a really enjoyable stay..

A mini break that my partner booked and paid for. The really good points. The food was really good especially in the buffet section. The evening entertainment especially by the Warner staff was superb. The bar staff were very approachable and friendly. The Hall itself was good, but the history recital was excellent. Good points Room was cleaned well presented, although in places, things were broken/damaged and needed a bit of TLC. The door lock for example didn't always work properly, but not a big thing. The Brasserie was ok, but the service was a bit slow at times. I think staffing was down due to illness. I just preferred the buffet, for me the food and service was that bit better. The not so good things, the beer was expensive, definitely North Yorkshire prices The seating, especially in the buffet were child friendly, definitely not suitable for someone over 6'. I carried a cushion with me to seat at a more comfortable height. Sadly the outside was a bit, to me given the price you pay, run down. Not horrendous but it needed a clean and tidy in places, or new plastics. The outdoor pods for example, and yes I appreciate the time of year, were discoloured green and cloudy. The bowling green trenches were in need of a good clean. The paths could do with refreshing, new surface materials. Should really be five stars all round, but just fell short in some areas.

Spent 3 very enjoyable nights at Nidd Hall last weekend. A variety of food on offer, very warm comfortable rooms and great entertainment especially "Disco Inferno" on Saturday evening. Fabulous location with superb grounds. Our favourite place having been several times and spending Christmas there - can't wait.

Lovely location, a walk around the grounds is well worth doing. The service was great and the entertainment was excellent. One thing that you have to get your head around is the levels of the floors, we were on the first floor and you entered at the reception which you would say is the ground floor, well you walk through the hotel to find you are on the second floor and get the lift down one floor. Once you walk around a bit it isn't a problem. Great for a short break.

Enjoyed our first 3 night break at Nidd Hall, Warner Hotel & Spa. Our room was a Signature room on the ground floor with patio and view of the grounds. Lovely and spacious. Half Board Basis. Free parking. No sockets/USB ports at bedside, but a few sockets are available by the work desk/dressing table. Nice water pressure in shower over bath. Mostly clean though quite dusty in places such as bathroom towel radiator and bin but not a big deal. Some towels were frayed. Enjoyed taking part in the daily activities such as quizzes, games & Archery. Went swimming and also tried the steam room. It was a shame the jacuzzi was no longer available. Enjoyed a lovely walk around the hotel grounds. The evening entertainment was OK. Didn't particularly like the Lionel Ritchie tribute act. Appreciated the happy hours in the bar 🙂 would have liked the option of full board / all inclusive. Food - breakfast in the Brasserie was a bit hit and miss as to whether we received what we asked for or overdone english muffins in the eggs benedict . However, the food was always hot. Evening meals in the Brasserie 32 was very nice and hot. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We also tried the buffet

We had a weekend break at Nidd Hotel staying in room 11, a historic room on level 1 of the main house. This area is accessed by a lift and two staircases and is suitable for guests with limited mobility. The room was well appointed with two single beds which we pushed together, and we had a lovely view over the rear gardens. The adjacent bathroom was huge and very warm, with a roll top bath and shower over. We ate in the buffet restaurant and the al la carte restaurant and the food was great in both - plenty of choice, served hot with hot plates. The entertainment was typical of Warners, day time quizzes and dance classes, and a comedian, and a tribute band at night. The only downside was there is no bar in the main house although there is supposedly table service from 11am. We wanted to have pre dinner drinks in the lounge, so I had to ask reception to send for a waiter. There is a bar in the entertainment venue but it is noisy and not conducive to a quiet chat with friends. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor attractions; there is a lovely stroll around the grounds, wildlife area and lake. There is outdoor fitness apparatus available, together with tennis, putting, archery and axe throwing!! We enjoyed our break and will book another soon!

A sprawling hotel in a beautiful location, quite isolated but only a short drive into Harrogate. Service let down by a cold breakfast and rubber scrambled eggs. Rooms warm and comfortable but the hotel is a rabbit warren. If the weather is bad and your room is outside the main building, you may need a map to find your way back! Lots of activities to engage with during the day and entertainment in the evening. Evening meals were good.

An enormous building with many long corridors but fortunately a few small lifts. All doors were wide enough to accomodate my mobility scooter. Staff very friendly.

Lovely hotel and gardens, good food and service. I expected their to be people that were older here but the reality age was 75 plus, a little to mature for us. Will revisit in a few years time

On trying to book a mid week break on line we found this very confusing. So in order to proceed we rang the number on the Web site and asked for booking assistance. The break was booked and payment in full taken Upon receipt of booking confirmation there was no mention of our Spa treatment deal which was agreed over the phone. After several phone calls our Spa treatment was booked but there was some confusion over which treatments were included in the deal. This was very frustrating but upon contacting Billy Hunter he resolved this matter in a very timely manor and confirmed immediately our correct deal via email. Looking forward to our break in a couple of weeks time and I would like to express my thanks to all the staff who has made this possible .
