We went for Mother's Day today. We were welcomed warmly on arrival by the owner. We were quickly shown to our table and didn't have to wait long to order drinks or food. I opted for a small size Sunday dinner and had turkey. The meal size was just right and delicious. There were plenty of options for one of our party who is coeliac. The service was great and all the staff were friendly. It was a nice busy atmosphere, we enjoyed our visit and will be back.
First time and will be back! Had an amazing steak baguette and my husband had the fish finger baguette. Lots of choice on the menu and dog friendly too! Staff were lovely…very attentive, friendly and helpful.
Never in my life have I had a burger at a restaurant as flavoursome as the one I had the other day (and I have eaten a lot of burgers, as a fussy eater). So juicy, so boujie, fanciest burger and dessert I've ever eaten.
I'd never been to The Knox before, but I know people who go there often, and I can see why. Good choice of drinks, AMAZING food, nice staff, lovely decor (big fan of the cow print booths), decent prices, and an overall great experience.

Best pub in Yorkshire. Has something for everyone. The food is superb at reasonable prices. The pipes are clean so the beer is great. A proper community pub that welcomes strangers. Also has live music of a very high quality. It is also dog friendly. The Sunday carvery is fabulous. They also have happy hours.
Lovely atmospheric pub, good selection of drinks, staff really friendly. Will be going back for the jam nights which were well set up and bands sounded great

We aren't local to the area, but popped in on the way home from our holiday. Really lovely bar and restaurant with a nice outdoor seating area. The gent that served us couldn't have been more welcoming and the food was delicious. Very dog friendly. Would recommend to anybody!
Great Yorkshire pudding with my roast today, and plenty of sauce & custard with the sticky toffee pudding. Nice.

We had a wonderful evening, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful and the food is fab - great choice for vegetarian and vegans too and dog friendly .. they even put the rugby on for us.
I’ve had such a wonderful afternoon with my husband. The staff are brilliant and the landlord (I think it’s Simon) is a really lovely guy.
We had a lovely lunch, the food is excellent value for money and there’s a great selection of drinks.
Highly recommend a visit as they have a great outdoor area and inside is equally nice.
