The food was unbelievably good...everything was freshly cooked and immaculately presented..staff were attentive without being over the top. The building and decor was stunning! Yes it's pricey..but worth pushing the boat out for this one.

This place is amazing, staff were fab, food was fantastic and very reasonably priced, the building is stunning, I spent my 50th birthday there yesterday, there were 12 people and the service was excellent, all of the food was brought out at the same time which you don't often find with a big party, I shall definitely be making another visit, thank you for helping to make my night special 🤗

My husband and I visit Harrogate 3 or 4 times a year, we always eat at least once during our stay. It is the best Chinese restaurant we have ever been in. The building is fantastic and the food is superb the only one thing missing is a little background music. It is such a big place every sound is echoed, this would make this place excellent. The champagne bar is fabulous where they do have music. See you all next time we are in beautiful Harrogate.

The food isnt cheap.....but the quality is great....very well cooked....good flavours...meat exceptionally well cooked. The set menu for two on a sunday...£24.50 each.....was enough for at least 3 people....i would like to try the buffet on a sunday at £18 ......to try the different dishes. The rhubarb gin and tonic was excellent!!

Great food but prices arent. I'm assuming that the rent on the Royal Baths building must be sky high, that's the only reason I can think of the insane prices that this Chinese Restaurant is charging. The portions are so small, so the value for what you get is atrocious. We went as a group of 4. None of us had drinks, we just ordered food. And for 60 pounds we all left hungry. We ordered 3 starters, 3 mains and 4 rice dishes. to share That tells you how little food they give you. The ambiance is nice and gives you a glimpse into a time period gone by. I think that this place is really only good if you want to visit the Royal Baths building. The food was really good though, so that was a little consolation. If I had spent 60 pounds on rubbish food, I would have been angry.

Good food shame about the price. Had the set meal for 2 at £18 each plus £4 extra each for the duck. The food was excellent and we left full. However, the final bill with a couple of drinks and the 10% service charge was £70 and there are better restaurants in Harrogate which charge less. We also felt rushed as the waiters tend to hover over you, once you take your last mouthful the plates are taken away and a minute later the next course arrives. Doubt we'll go back

Really lovely spot. Amazing building, very grand experience. There was a huge waiting staff, almost one per table, and not all tables were full (we went on a quiet evening though) One of our number is Vegetarian and ordered the special rice (thinking "special" meant fancy aha), and our waitress kindly told him it wasnt veggie BUT he could request a different rice to have various vegetables added. I mention this because it speaks of the accommodation of the service staff, and it shows that the chefs do indeed cook to order. The pricing was good, all in all a lovely evening out

We are visiting Harrogate for a weekend break. We weren't sure where to go for dinner but decided a Chinese meal would be nice. We didn't book but had no problem getting a table. We were delighted at what a beautiful building this restaurant is in. Truly stunning. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were very polite and attentive. We had a lovely evening. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you visit Harrogate.

Beautiful place, best looking restaurant we've been to. Service was also amazing. Food was good. Good selection of vegetarian options with actual vegetarian "chicken" which I've never seen in a Chinese restaurant before. Parking situation isn't great. Tables were a bit close together for my liking.

Beautiful interior and great atmosphere. Very good service and welcoming staffs. But food not outstanding. A bit disappointed at the crispy duck snd pork dumpling, actually most dishes.

Delicious food in a historical building. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Definitely worth going to this restaurant for food and atmosphere. Highly recommend the dessert caramelized banana with vanilla ice cream. You will be amazed with the crispy outside and tender inside.

Definitely a worth while experience. The service is impeccable, the food was lovely and as authentic as you can get. The atmosphere is little stiff for my liking but that's what theyve always gone for. The staff are very attentative, I mean my glass would be half full before it would be topped up. The only downside and I guess it is because you are paying for the service, location and quality of food... Be prepared to pay for it.

Wow! Not sure what else to say really?! The food, amazing. The service, fantastic. The venue, stunning. Loved it so much we booked to go again before we left, at the weekend for when family are visiting. The staff were telling us that through covid they were shut for 18 months and while shut have had a lot of work done to the restaurant, so if you went before covid, definitely worth going again. They have an open kitchen, which I always love in restaurants. A superb wine and drinks menu, never seen so many whiskeys available and I'd certainly recommend the Hong Kong draft larger! The staff were brilliant, all the food came out presented beautifully and tasted as good as it looked. Thank you to the team!

We went to this fabulous restaurant pre covid & always wanted to return when next visiting Harrogate. We were not disappointed as both food & attentive service were first class, just as we remembered. We had the banquet for two & each course was delicious. Drinks were reasonably priced too in this imposing building with great decor. We will definitely return ASAP.

We have been this evening and wow! What a wonderful place! Stunning restaurant, amazing service and outstanding food. Spotless throughout, well turned out staff and food presentation was spectacular. Definitely the best restaurant we have been to in Harrogate. Would recommend to anyone and cannot wait to visit again.

Always great food and service. It doesn’t matter if the restaurant is empty or full the service is always the same standard. Some of our favs are the crispy duck pancake, smoked shredded chicken and crispy seaweed!! Be prepared for fast service so if you want a slower pace make sure to tell them or just order your next course when you are ready to be served. Plenty of parking across the street. Lovely bar area for waiting. On the weekends definitely make a reservation because it usually gets pretty full. If you are visiting Harrogate this is a must. The architecture and decorations inside the old Turkish Bath buildings are beautiful! They will not allow you to come in just to take pictures, you must be a customer.
