What a great place this is to eat, with lovely surroundings and with very helpful and happy staff you are made most welcome here.
We were waiting to get into the exhibition centre to start the de-rig on a stand we had there and decided to have lunch there whilst waiting.
We were 3mins till they stop
We usually go for brunch on a Sunday and sometimes drop in to the deli for a nose about and a couple of bits. This time I went for a proper look at the butcher's counter and dry ager. We had a good chat with the butcher about his dry aged beef pieces and got a beef wing rib cut for us to roast later
Absolutely fabulous food, service and products. Really great farm shop with anything you could want, even has some gluten free options.

Stayed at the Caravan site next door and used the cafe and shop every day. Brilliant breakfast and service each morning. Shop has all you can need and some great local products. The bakery section is superb!
Good place but mediocre.
Quality is above average although still nothing special.
Price of goods are bumped up for the sake of it by the look of things as the price you pay for what you get is laughable. For example £4.50 for 2 below par sausages in a middle of the road bread bun is boarding extort
We were recently staying at the great Yorkshire showground caravan park which is just across the road from Fodder farm shop. Popped in a few times for supplies. A great selection of some of Yorkshire's finest produce, gifts, a cafe and an Airstream serving great food and coffee.
Not a particularly classy place for a meal (bright lights, quite busy with lots of kids) but doesn't half make up for this with the quality of the food, at least the Sunday roast. Three different kinds of meat, flavourful gravy, loads of sides.

Think "Waitrose' and you're not far off the mark. This showcase for Yorkshire produce and gifts trades on quality rather than economy and, truth be told, you can find most of the stock cheaper elsewhere, but that's not the point. Fodder is a leisure experience. The shopping is only part of the deal.
What a super place! The restaurant has a lovely choice of food, including different gluten-free options. The staff were extremely helpful and did not make me feel awkward for requiring gluten and dairy free food. I had the pork belly with the butter bean cassoulet. It's a new dish on the autumn menu
Perfect for a pre-exhibition breakfast. Went for the ultimate breakfast sandwich, in brown. Meaty local sausage, runny egg and tasty bacon. If the fat was crispy rather than stringy I wouldn't have needed to remove it. Great coffee too
My favourite spot in the whole of Harrogate. Local food, local gifts, excellent value and quality.
Parking makes life easy. The meat and cheese counters are a highlight, fresh vegetables as well - you can shop to cook, or simply stop for coffee, cake and lunch.
Fodder cafe, first class service. We were late in the day, near closing time and the lady didn't find a last minute customer an imposition but was happy to serve. Thank you.
The shop was, as always, well stocked and interesting to visit. Our shopping bag was full as we left the store.
Gorgeous! Beautifully designed store with countless goodies from Yorkshire farmers. We went to the cafe first and then shopped in the store. Really a special experience. The presentation of goods is a feast for the eyes. Absolutely recommendable!
A very pleasant shopping experience. Good knowledgeable staff with a friendly smile. Fodder offers very tempting goodie, for example chocolate covered cinder toffee. OMG
