Tagged along on my daughters treat for her Mum on Mother’s Day. The welcome and friendliness of the staff was genuine and special. I chose from the Mother’s Day special menu which was excellent value well presented and delicious. Started with Portobello Mediterranean which was a large mushroom with roasted vegetables topped with a round of goats cheese. Main was Pork medallions in Marsala sauce the meat portion was extremely generous and it was served with a trio of vegetables. The Amerretti cake to finish was out of this world. Everyone in the party enjoyed their choices having pizza’s and Lasagna and various starters and desserts. Well worth a try. We certainly will be back beats all these “chain” restaurants you find in town.
Heard great things about this Italian so thought I’d come and try and I was not disappointed! The garlic bread with tomato was delicious and then we were tempted by the deep fried mozzarella which is definitely a new favourite! There was no waiting around at any point in the night and the service was warm and friendly. We forced down a lemon sorbet to finish which was refreshing and filled the very small holes which were left. A fantastic meal and we are already planning our next visit. Thank you!
Had lunch here and I must say it was the best spaghetti bolognaise I have ever eaten. The service was excellent with helpful, friendly staff and the restaurant and atmosphere was lovely. I would recommend to anybody and will definately be going back.
Called in for tea last night after it had been recommended to us by staff in a pub. Absolutely fantastic, friendly staff, gorgeous food. My husband even asked if he could have his left over pizza put in something to take back to the hotel. The waiter obliged by putting it in a box. Which hubby later finished off. Would highly recommend. Thankyou

Recently moved to harrogate been in a few places for meal now i go to buon gusto because food is genuine like my mama does in italy is just very good! Pizza is the best i had in uk ! Many thanks to all the staff see soon!
Harrogate has been crying out for a decent independant Italian. This it IT!!! Food was faultless service great (even the chef singing along to the music!)and the value matched too. We will be back very soon.

Harrogate’s hidden little diamond. Visited this restaurant for my birthday and loved every minute of it.
We had pizza bread for starters with olives, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and a selection of bread. The pizza bread was fresh and tasted really good.
Mains was pasta with meatballs. The offering was very generous. Very tasty.
Steak was unreal. Cooked perfectly (medium) and the peppercorn sauce really complimented this along with the chips. I have to compliment the chef. Even the chips were lovely and crispy.
Staff were very friendly. Met the owner and had a really good chat, laughing throughout our visit.
Cost was very reasonable at £88 plus tips considering we were eating in Harrogate.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

While in Harrogate for a couple of days we wanted to eat at an Italian restaurant and we were pleased to find Buon Gusto. The restaurant is traditional Italian with a lovely atmosphere. Great menu, wonderful food and excellent service. We would definitely visit often if we lived nearby.
Tried for the First time this evening, staff very friendly and the not too mention how amazing the food was so good, would definitely be back soon!!

I enjoy Italian food. I am currently away with my parents, and my Wife (who has food allergies).
When my Wife and I go to a restaurant, she normally struggles to find a choice of meals due to her allergies.
Buon Gusto's menu is extensive, and gave my Wife the opportunity to actually have a number of choices which she was excited to try.
The food was absolutely amazing, easily the best Italian food I have eaten in the UK, and I'm the wrong side of 50.
All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the experience of being served by people who obviously enjoy what they do.
We had starters, mains and deserts (with drinks), for @ £40 per head which quite frankly is exceptional value for money. We definitely want to eat here again before we return home.
P.S. the lemon sorbet is 👌
On a weekend break, we had booked in advance due to earlier reviews. We were not disappointed.
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed, warmly and enthusiastically. Service was friendly and efficient. The choice on the menu was really good, especially the meat free options, but nothing prepared us for the food. The starters were quickly served and cooked to perfection and the mains were outstanding. I don't think I have ever enjoyed Italian food this much (and I love Italian food). Thank you Buon Gusto, I'm just sad that I don't live in Harrogate!
Best seafood spaghetti I’ve ever had. Great service too.
Second visit here over a couple of months. Both previously and today the food was really good. We had the two courses for £15.00 offer. Place was quiet, service was excellent. Lovely place for lunch. Happy to recommend.
We have been there a few times and the staff is always friendly and the food delicious. The spaghetti with meatballs and lasagna were very tasty. The chef prepared a lovely pasta dish for our toddler, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely our favourite Italian in town 😊
