We were recommended this place. The staff looked after us all the way through, topping up water getting additional drinks.
The fish and chips were spot on. Plenty fish.
Also the fish pie was packed full of fish.
Would recommend
Nice atmosphere with lovely view of the park and nice flowers in all the pub windows. Pet friendly.

Great food, good service,spent a few hours there one day.We had Sunday lunch and a couple of bottles of wine. slight issue with bill, but quickly and professionally dealt with, would definitely visit again.

We have been eating here for many years and we will continue to do so, highly recommended. There is a very friendly customer and staff team, the service and the food is excellent, also with a good wide range of menu choices.
Very nice decor, friendly staff, good range of ales and an amazing sharing ploughman’s lunch. Of course this was only possible for to experience because they are dog friendly.

Visit only for drinks. Quiet, warm comfortable and friendly. Could have been tempted to eat but xmas menu...in early Jan? little expensive for us.
Traditional pub serving excellent craft ales and lovely food. Try the Sunday roast - 8its excellent value at £11 and the the roast beef is beautifully rare
Mmm? It's a clean and tidy pub. Music was ok, but just a few people in there to listen to it. It's not as good as it was before the refurb.
Warm friendly pub. Food is good, beer is great - nice and fresh. Toilets very clean. This is a great place for lunch or tea.
