Couldn’t recommend Yaalu Yaalu enough! It’s the perfect new addition to Haringey. All of the food we tried was exquisite - especially the salmon and the lamb. The staff were so attentive and friendly. The perfect date night spot!
I've been here few days ago eating some vegetarian plates, and there are surprisingly a lot of choices! Very tasty, fast service and friendly stuff! Fall in Love expecially with the mushroom and the dessert. Good price too!! Highly recommend :)
Amazing Sri Lankan dishes at very reasonable prices. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and service. Loved the fact that dishes were served with a banana leave. Such little thing makes my day 💁🏻♂️
One of the best restaurants in London. Loved the food, great service and beautiful place.
One tip for the owners: replace the plastic straw to paper or no straw would be perfect :)
Good food. The string hoppers and the fried beef starters (boss) were the highlight. Very friendly staff and great ambience as well.

My partner and I tried the brunch (hopper and yoghurt) and it's was delicious! Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely come back and try the dinner.
Had lunch there last week with two friends. We had three starters (prawns, beef and salmon) and three mains (sea bass, goat stew and venison). Everything was delicious and perfectly spiced, the atmosphere was bright, warm and welcoming and the service was attentive! A wonderful addition to the neighbourhood and I highly recommend you try Yaalu Yaalu!

Tasty Sri Lanka food. Sea bass in banana leaf as traditionally made in Sri Lanka.
Excellent food & service. The chef came over to check if we had enjoyed the meal. Totally recommend.
Lovely restaurant with delicious food. We particularly enjoyed the jackfruit dish we tried. The ordering app needs double checking because a mushroom dish came with cheese automatically but was marked as vegan. When we asked for it to be replaced within the no cheese version, they got it for us very quickly - and it was great. Quick and friendly staff even on a busy Friday evening.
Excellent dining experience with authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. I've had the best polos curry (jak) in ages, that wasn't actually cooked in Sri Lanka itself. Great atmosphere created by the friendly staff and pleasant layout/set-up. Definitely the place to be for a nice Sri Lankan curry.
First visit here. Really nice tasting food with a varied menu. Ordered the boar with spicy chips, the meat was really succulent and tender with a delicious spicy sauce. The spices on the food made the dish. Service was really friendly and decor subtle but effective. Portion sizes were decent and prices really fair. Will definitely be back here. Highly recommended!!!
Yaalu Yaalu it is a very nice place where to dine with friends, partner or family. Personally, I like the way they furnished the restaurant and the background music.
We ordered two mains and two sides. The portions may look small at first, but they are very filling. The meat I ordered was melting in my mouth: absolutely recommended. The food was very good but also spicy!
Therefore, I would suggest ordering something with coconut, rice or other food that can help you with the chili taste.
I also found very interesting/original the platters they gave us to dine with.
Overall, I believe the prices are honest and the food is absolutely worth it.
I am surely going back again.
Came in one day after walking to find somewhere for lunch and now have a new favourite restaurant. The food is lovely, well prepared good ingredients and a great depth of flavour. The staff are lovely and attentive and the atmosphere was really nice. Very relaxed and great music and lovely reclaimed wood furniture. Couldn’t recommend enough!
If your looking for more than your standard curry this is the place. Pleasant surprise to have very different vegetable dishes and of the three curries tried all were uniquely different in flavor so can't argue with that . Travelled quite a way but well worth it for the great flavours, also generous and good value

Excellent food, friendly and personable owner, well thought out dishes, small but filling portions, presentation feels like a proper fancy restaurant not your regular curry. Also was incredibly affordable, cheaper than all the overdone Turkish places on the lanes. Vegetarian and had plenty of options though I always wish the menus are 50% meat free I was still happy
