We had Sunday lunch here which was great. Loved the prawn cocktail! We sat outside in the garden in the back which was a delightful sunny spot u til it suddenly rained. It’s summer after all! The staff were super friendly and attentive and I highly recommend. We shall be going back again for sure -
Had a delicious Sunday roast here with great service from Lauren and Kate who were very friendly and helpful. Had a Lotus Biscoff desert too which was tasty. Parking was easy. Good Wi-Fi. Garden is really nice and cozy with good seating and even an area properly under cover which is cool, plus the g
Really lovely, nicely appointed gastropub. Popped in on a midweek afternoon and was immediately greeted by a lovely staff member, filling her quieter time by polishing cutlery. Really friendly, chatty and welcoming; a credit to this establishment. Had a good pint of well-kept Timothy Taylor Landl

They also have a full range of 'Big Smoke Brew Co'. Tasters no problem. Big seating area at the back and front of the pub so the sun is always avail
Lovely first visit to this pub. All staff were great. I think our orders were taken by a manager, while Amelia served us. This is a proper gastro pub where the chef clearly knows their way around a kitchen. Food was superb though the Korean chicken burger didn't really live up to being Korean it was

Visited for lunch recently, good menu to choose from. Gluten free options available which is always good. We were impressed with the lighter burger option, with a sale instead of bun. Good sized patio for this warmer weather
We came for a meal for Father’s Day and have a lovely time - great Sunday roasts with a vegetarian option and excellent service from our waitress Amelia. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and went out of her way to make us enjoy our lunch. Dog friendly too which was a plus. Thank you!
Yes yes yes. A gem has shown up on Southdown's doorstep! The Queen's Head generously invited us to attend their soft launch tonight. As a massive fan of smokehouse food their menu was delightful, and the extensive range of real ales + craft beers will take another couple of visits to work through.
