1st time to this establishment and definitely not our last! It has already been cemented that this will become a regular go to either for drinks alone or food aswell.
Beautiful inside and the staff were amazing, very welcoming, very knowledgeable. The Chef deserves massive praise, the food was outs
Incredible food. Lovely host and welcoming feel. Not children and dogs friendly but perfect for something a little bit special x
Interesting menu and special of the day. Good food and friendly service. Worth going back
Lovely food and lovely decor. Pie and chips was lovely. Chunky chips would be a better match than fries. Great sticky toffee pudding. Lime and soda, good proportions.
If you know Harmston it's a tiny village but we'll worth a visit to find this little quaint excellent restaurant the food iss good the staff are good the atmosphere is warming, you'll see the owner/chef getting stuck in and chatting to guests, highly recommended 😋
Really nice, quiet country pub. Typical of the hidden gems you would hope to find in the English countryside. Landlord was lovely, food was delicious and only cost a little more than conveyer belt fayre pumped out by pub chains. Difficult to find but we persevered and now I am happy Google maps does
I was so lucky to find the people in this restaurant during my bike packing tour. My best wishes to all of you!
Excellent Gastropub. Friendly owner.
Food is reasonably priced and good quality. Strikes the perfect balance between simple traditional food whilst being more delicate and sophisticated than the usual pub fare.
Highly recommended.
A menu that has so many choices the only answer is to make it more than one visit. Really good staff and a warm welcome
Really good food and friendly staff. Great village pub. Well done, thanks.
Very good food and prompt service but quite pricey compared to comparable meals
Amazing food! Wonderful homely well presented pub, fantastic owners and such lovely staff! Thankyou so much! Always was a pleasure at the bell and still continues to be here
How very refreshing that having left a message before opening hours for somebody to call me back and book a table that not only did Paul (landlord/owner/chef!) do that but made the effort on a second number after leaving a message on my mobile.
So, the Thorold Arms is lovely. A real relaxing atmosph
Fantastic food and great beer
I am lucky enough to live within walking distance of this brilliant pub and visit often enough to call it my local. I cannot speak more highly of The Thorold Arms. The landlord and chef patron is Paul Vidic and he has taken this Community owned pub to another level. His hospitality is second to none
OK, so I've spent years living in London and around the world, eating out every chance I can and yet rarely reviewed the restaurants I've dined. But today, for my wife's 50th Birthday, we had a small party/lunch at the Thorold Arms. Yes the village is charming and the pub is quite delightful. But bo
Lovely old village pub, friendly welcome and good service. Food was amazing, we'll definitely be going back!
