A nice atmosphere and service was friendly, portions were good with plenty of fries and all the food was above average. Breakfast options were good with chances to pick different fry up options. Drinks quite dear and general cleanliness was good even in the toilets. Speed of service was reasonable for numbers of customers although only offering cash was a letdown especially as most people seem to spend over £10 per person.

Really good place to stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A proper cafe with good hearty food. Big portions and a big selection. A great place to go for a afternoon break. The lunch I had was The Chef breakfast.

I don't know anywhere else that you can get a 7 item cooked brekky Inc drink and 2 rounds of toast for about a fiver.

This is the second time I have been here, the decor has changed for the better. The staff are so friendly and polite. We had a cooked breakfast which was really tasty. Toast was the nice thick doorstep slices with lashing's of butter, I know that's not healthy but like I said it was only twice in 10 years. I recommend it if you are looking for a cafe it's worth a visit.

Been going here for years and that says it all really. It's a bit hit and miss, I order the same breakfast everytime and it comes with different amounts of food items everytime, sometimes one egg, sometimes 2, sometimes comes with toast and sometimes doesn't. But overall, a clean cafe with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Would love the option of oat milk for coffee and honey for toast, definitely recommend the freshly squeezed orange juice :)
Yearly visit to cafe when visiting family for Christmas. Food as good as ever. As for the transformation? Wow!
