Esquires has always been my favourite coffee shop. They never harass you to leave when your finished. Light, airy modern shop with fresh faced polite staff.
Costa and Starbucks are not a patch on Esquires.
Had the best milkshake of my life! (and I’m in my fifties). Banana and Almond tasted like Banana Marzipan (my favourite 2 foods). Also had leek and potato soup and a tea. Soup was delicious and tea was made with freshly boiled water served in a generous mug. Staff were friendly. It was definitely not my last visit.
I am not one for frequenting corporate coffee shops as they often overpriced. Esquires I will make the exception regarding Harlow. A nice well ventilated establishment good value for money regarding the drinks. Food wise a bit expensive but I never eat in these places anyway so won't drop any marks for that reason�

They were giving out samples of hot chocolate , it was so nice I had to buy a large one . Fab and would definitely go back . Better than the wishy washy stuff from costa !

Esquires is a typical coffee shop, has a good selection of food and drinks and decent prices. Where it really shines is the staff, always smiley and friendly, really accomodating of young children (my 2 year old likes to feed the floor) with a lunch pack deal for kids that has quite a lot in it, plus a fresh made sandwich. It could do with a few more of the plush comfy chairs, but I get the impression this is to save on space, as it's not a huge place. It's very convenient to the car park at Asda as well, and for a quick coffee before shopping.
Great place to eat and drink, the atmosphere is always good and the staff are friendly. My only gripe is that your not able to have toasties an hour before close even though this isn’t advertised. The hot food is still on display just to temp you. :(
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, nice food and friendly staff. Seating outside when weather's nice. Well worth a visit for lunch, or just a coffee. Overlooking the water gardens.

Inside the Stevenage shopping complex. The open air seating area is cosy and surprisingly un-intrusive - good prices and selection of coffees. Staff pleasant and accommodating
