Lovely visit today. Pre booked a table as large group. Staff all friendly helpful and food prompt and good quality. One lady in particular was great with the kids and made sure they got the ice lolly’s they were desperate for even though they were just being delivered.
Very tasty ice cream. Toffee and butterscotch I sampled. Delicious! And so is the raspberry and cream. The renovation is brilliant. Ideal for photography enthusiasts who like lighting with style!
I visit the park and the cafe every weekend, Very nice and friendly place, it would have been nice if the cafe was dog friendly though

This is specifically for the "Pizza in the park" the cafe gets a 2 out of 5 (see below).
PIZZA the food of the gods, and finally Harlow has entered the world of quality pizza, bad things first.
No they do not deliver.
No they are not open late.
Only one size.
Now the good stuff, a quality pizza, with good crust and just the right amount of chew and snap, the tomato is pretty decent (never underestimate the need for good tomato in a pizza) and the cheese is good, with enough to make the pizza feel covered but without becoming swamped.
Cook time is pretty quick (there wasn't a queue when I went so this could be different if its busy)
What does this all mean in the end? Well I'm gonna say this is the best proper pizza in Harlow right now.

I wish I could give this place a more positive review but sadly no.
Ordered a vegi cheese burger and tea, asked if I could have a different bun and was offered a bap. Nice, then I asked if I which milk jug was soya but was informed I should have said earlier (Who knew?).
So I pay extra for the milk.
And then the food arrives, oh dear, my bap was a sponge burger bun. No great loss, but the great insult was the slice of plastic cheese slice on top of my burger.
Good portions at reasonable prices. Stop by and refuel with your kids.
Kid friendly but wait times to be served are long. Staff very friendly but food not great. Had a panini but was more like a sandwich as in not toasted.

We didn't eat. Just had drinks. They were very busy but didn't let us down including making our pup happy with his very own pup-accino. It was worth the visit after a walk around the park!
Nice café for a coffee, a snack or lunch. However, hygiene isn't great. Spotted a server pinching her nose after sneezing, then serving an ice cream afterwards without washing hands or using gloves!
Really nice place,always had pretty good service. Only thing is it's quite expensive.
Decent little cafe in the park... simple food and a decent coffee. What more could you ask for after a nice stroll in the park.

Great service and great food and drink
The cafe is such a wonderful addition to the beautiful park. Staff are so friendly, work so hard and do it with a smile. Great choice of food and drinks...a real treat on winter/summer dog walks. There's even a jar of treats for the dogs on the way out. A little busier at weekends but that's a good thing... it means it will continue to thrive and to serve us so well.
My favourite place in the whole of Harlow, absolutely love it on a nice sunny day. Been coming all through the pandemic and the ladies there are lovely, couldn't have got through the social isolation without them - especially the server with the red hair.
