Went on a Saturday at about 3pm. We didn't have to wait for a table and there was only a short queue for the food. We tried the sharing starters which were ok but we wouldn't bother again. The carvery was excellent as it always is π. We were served by Kim who was top notch.
Friendly staff(Tracey was our waitress , excellent service ) , clean restaurant and food is always very tasty . Highly recommend

It was a very busy service due to 50% off but the staff were amazing, the barman was helpful & friendly, the meet & greeter was amazing and found us a table with no problem at all, she was very professional and friendly.
The young man at the carvery counter is a credit to your company so friendly, chatty and nothing was to much.
Our waitress was friendly & quick to serve us so in all it was a great experience and an enjoyable meal.
I visited this restaurant last week with my daughter and we both absolutely loved it. The food was great, the staff were lovely and my waitress Alisha was amazing. She was very pleasant and friendly. She not only served us, she made a conscious effort to be friendly to myself and my daughter. I donβt usually write reviews but this experience was great. We will definitely be visiting again!
Following difficulty trying to book a table of 12 online we booked 2x6 tables and was originally advised we would possibly be not be seated together. As it was for my husbands 80th Birthday. Upon arrival the staff were very accommodating and managed to get us 3x4 tables together. The waitresses were lovely and made sure we wanted for nothing. The cake was also brought out without prompting. All in all we had a lovely meal as always and my husband really enjoyed his birthday meal. Thank you.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our roast tonight, everything was super fresh even though it was busy. And thank you to our lovely server Alisha!!! You are honestly the loveliest waitress weβve both come across!!! So friendly and funny, made us both chuckle!

The carvery was really good value Β£13.99 and you have a choice of 4 meats, Yorkshire pudding, roast and mash and 4 different veggies.... Condiments inc like apple sauce, stuffing etc
There was a queue but it moved quite quickly, lots of staff so everything runs very smoothly, wasn't really too bad at the bar either getting drinks.
Nice place inside, lots of windows so bright and airy.... I don't really like a carvery but have to admit my Sunday dinner was delicious... We will definitely be coming back π

I came in a couple days ago and I thought what a lovely experience I must write a review! The food was great for the money and we got served by a lovely lady called Alisha who was very pleasant and polite! Will be coming back again
The food was hot and the service was good.
It's good to see portion control being applied. Or it would be if it was even handed. It seems if you are known to the chefs you get extra e.g additional meat and sausages meant for the larger plates on the normal plates!
The usual carvery experience although perhaps due to the holidays this was very busy with a long wait for service. Despite this the food was very nice and hot with a good change of tables and not being pressured to finish your meal. Toilets are upstairs for most with a disabled ground floor one. Bar area was also busy but the outside seating area was well laid out. Parking is limited to 3 hours in the outside travel lodge car park which when busy isn't as long as you may think.
Had a lovely family meal here, was very busy but was very taken care of, had a lovely experience will definitely be coming again and my server alisha was fantastic, she made our evening for sure! Very polite and made us laugh always made sure we had what we needed and was very helpful!
I really did enjoy eating at the Toby Carvery last week. Our waitress Alisha was so helpful and friendly. The food was amazing and I canβt wait to go back for another roast. :) xx
The meats were lovely with a good range. No crackling again available with the roast pork. Slightly disappointed with the range of vegetables. The carrots never look appealing albeit taste fine.
Some veg dishes seem to have been replaced with Mac n cheese.
Drinks machine wasnβt working properly as we were expected to get drinks from the bar . My dinner was in the table and a long queue at the bar.
Waitress was happy to tell us how tired she was and how much she wanted to go home. Not an overly welcome statement.
