Been many times before but decided to try it for Sunday lunch as we’ve always been so impressed previously. It didn’t disappoint in any way; quality of ingredients (locally sourced where possible), the way it was cooked and the service - all top notch and the best local pub by far in our opinion. Highly recommend the fish goujons for starters and the beef and pork belly roasts... oh and the sticky toffee pudding and range of ice creams for dessert! Keep doing what you are doing guys - it was a brilliant dining experience 👍🏻
I've recently been twice here and on both occasions the food was lovely. The pub has a lovely atmosphere to it. Very friendly staff. Wld certainly recommend this pub �
Love this place! Always a unique menu incorporating locally sourced produce. Our 11 year old loves the trout pâté and our 8 year old can't get enough of the fish and chips. The Sunday roast is to die for. The recent chateaubriand was a real treat. Love the staff - always a warm welcome. We can't stay away!!!!

Our large party of people had a celebration yesterday afternoon. Menu was varied, food was excellent, portion size good. Value for money. Staff worked extremely hard to make sure everyone was happy. Would recommend and return.
Had a great meal out last night, a beautifully cooked, very tender and flavoursome rib eye, and great fries. Its suprising how hard it is to get really good steak, but this one was great. Both my mum's cod and also my wife's Hake were also excellent-we're going to try and copy the Hake at home!
Puddings were also excellent, my pannacotta with Rhubarb was a lovely mix of sweet and tart, the addition of chopped pistachio and a bit of crushed caramel added a really good contrast to the smooth pannacotta. Sticky toffee pudding was also very good, getting the balance between lightness and stodgyness just right, great variety of locally made ice creams to accompany.

We went for the Sunday lunch. Food was excellent. My dessert was so good I licked the plate...not something I would ever usually do... hopefully no one noticed except my daughters and my sister who were suitably astonished I actually did that! Anyway, bad manners on my part aside, would highly recommend!
Excellent food and very good good service. All locally sourced produce which shows in the quality of the food. Very good wine list that is sensibly priced. Highly recommended, booking is essential.

The food is just superb - the starter ( a corn and chorizo hash with a duck egg) was truly sublime. And they have Erdinger beer on draught! Have been there probably half a dozen times in the last year or two and loved it every time.
Really lovely place, amazing food and very helpful for people with coeliac, they accommodated for me and gave lots of info on their dishes. They really know their stuff and all the staff are lovely and friendly. Will definitely be going back. �

We had a lovely meal here last night. There were plenty of dishes to choose from between the main and specials menu. All plates were plentiful and full of flavour. We were looked after very well by two young ladies and Amelia was extremely helpful to us newbies. Nothing was too much trouble at all. We will definitely be back soon and the Dusty Miller may become our regular choice for dining out. Well done, keep it up! X
I had a great lunch with an old friend the other day. The dusty miller is the perfect place to spend your afternoon. However, the atmosphere was better under the old ownership, when I was part of their team. On a positive note, the food has improved considerably in quality since I left. I had a lovely steak sandwich, which I devoured with ease. Amelia was fantastic as always, and the service is still top-notch. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend or someone new to Harlow.
After searching for a suitable venue for our engagement party for weeks, we finally decided on The Dusty Miller and I’m very glad we did. Lukasz and the whole team at The Dusty Miller were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with from the start. Our requests were all met and they worked to give us an amazing day. We were able to decorate how we wanted, play the music we wanted and run the day how we wanted!
The food and drink was all lovely with all of our guests being well looked after all day.

A beautiful pub to eat and drink at. Nicely decorated. Very comfortable seating. Free and large car park. The waitress was very helpful, friendly and welcoming from the start.
Excellent selection of wines. A comprehensive menu that shows ambition. A range of meaty and seafood options. Gluten free options make the menu especially apealling. If ypu have enough room after the large mains served, try one of their desserts. I like this pub. My first time to visit, and not the last.
Too hungry for the picture, lol. BUT had the Trio Sunday Roast and it was utterly delicious! Every ingredient on that was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The chicken was particularly nicely done, juicy and tasty. It is a filling dish. No space for dessert, sadly. I’ll be back to try the sticky toffee for sure!
It was a bit quiet - but they let us stay to use the table for work too. Attentive enough worked out well. Didnt have that "this is a nice place vibe" and the hand drier registered 100dB on my watch!
Have often passed the Dusty Miller without the opportunity to stop. Did so today with some friends; menu was varied and inviting (although the dessert menu could benefit with an addition). Music was piped through to the garden and we asked for it to be turned down; and it was. Service was brilliant; really made to feel welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. Would happily stop more often and recommend to friends.
Lovely meal at the Dusty Miller - our first since it has changed hands. Staff were all very friendly, personable and accommodating. The garden is beautifully done We all had the trio roast which was delicious - I don't know if it was because we were the last order of the day but the portion was substantial and the Yorkshire (which is always one thing I dread at restaurants because if is it done badly it ruins my meal) was perfect. Only thing that I probably wouldn't go for again, and that may be due to the end of the day, was the cauliflower cheese which was very overdone. It had a nice flavour but was really mushy.
Very dog friendly as well which is nice. A great local gem and look forward to going back. Thank you!
4 of us chose this place after a round of golf nearby. We were told the kitchen was closed but when we said we were hungry Damian (chef) and Sophie kindly invited us in and made an amazing dinner for us! Superb attitude and great food with nice drinks selection, will definitely be back - thank you again 😊
Love this place, food is delicious, portions are generous and staff are always on hand to help. A bit more expensive than your average restaurant but this isn't just an average restaurant so happy to pay a bit extra.
Had a lovely family Sunday lunch in a large group of 8, very generous portions and also very good with our two small dogs.
Excellent and family friendly, we will be back as the service was superb too.
