Staying at a local hotel to get to the Airport first thing tomorrow and stumbled on this gem! We were looking for somewhere which was playing the football, which it was, and we were hoping for decent food... Which again, it really was. They predominantly serve black rocks steaks where you cook them
Well lit pub with their specialty being “black rock” grill, which is essentially cook it yourself steak on a hot rock. Decent prices and the specials (ie mega steak 24 oz with pint/wine for approx 25 pounds) are somewhat of a good deal, albeit a massive amount of food. Steak was unseasoned/non-marin
We came from Heathrow Airport to spend a little time waiting for our lift they were warm and welcoming was even willing to keep open to keep us warm unfortunately at the moment they do not do food
Super authentic waiter (Luke) and great authentic atmosphere. A gem among pubs in this area. Highly recommend as an escape from your hotel restaurant.
Nice pub for dinner. I was with some coworkers during bussines travel. I ordered a 16oz rump steak served in Hot black Stone + 1 pint of carling for 23£. Good prize compared with the hotels in bath Road. The staff is very friendly and so kind.
I didn't notice any "boozy pub smell" when I came here.
If Julian doesn't want a "boozy pub smell" maybe he shouldn't be going to a pub?
This is a wonderful community pub here in Harlington!
I thought the barman was super friendly, there's an excellent beer choice and the music is fantastic.
Love th
Just had a wonderful 16oz rump steak. And I just can’t wait till I return again.
Only just had drinks in here so far but the service is great!. I love the vibes in here. And to come here as a belgium citizen and seeing all the belgium beer signs is just wonderfull!!
Just a perfectly normal pub. Was lucky to meet a bunch of the locals. No food but a great place for a drink away from hotel bars.
Nice little pub for a drink or dinner.
I was in the area on Business and fed up with the overpriced food at the hotel I was staying at so took a walk and came upon the Wheatsheaf.
Sensible price of £4.10 for a pint of Carling which was significantly cheaper than the hotel I was staying at. I had one
Once you get used to cooking your own steak, it was lovely. Good tasting steak. Not a lot of choice for vegetarians. My son doesn't like halloumi and it was only option so chips, onion rings and salad his only choice. Staff very friendly. We had seen pizza on photos on the reviews, but they don't se
Great local pub near Heathrow airport. Good atmosphere and very friendly staff and plenty of pints. The steaks are second to none and when cooked by yourself on a heated lava stone, every bite is hot and juicy. Great experience!
I love this place. Nice locals, great staff & a really good choice of beers and drinks. You have to try the and the most incredible sizzling steaks on the Black Rock Grills. Its is small, cosy and friendly.
Small and cosy place right next to the street. Parking is free at the back. Good choice on tap. I presume it gets busy during the games.
Good service, nice local pub
Cook your own steak, was a great idea, especially when the main ingredient is high quality.
Just loved the pub, real traditional pub with great beer, and a friendly and warm service.
I was looking for a nice steak on Sunday noon. The owner was very friendly !
He told me the kitchen starts at 6pm !
He was so kind to show me the way to an open restaurant at walking distance.
Waaaw ... amazing service.
I will come and eat my steak on Wedn or Thu for sure !
Pub is friendly with good selection of ales and lagers .
Service can be slow at lunchtime
