Friendly and welcoming. Food was well presented, tasty and generous size. Lovely gesture by the staff to provide surprise cake for a friend celebrating her birthday.

Fantastic old pub! Had my wedding reception here yesterday, Ryan and the staff really went out of their way to help plan it and make our day special. Food was great, everyone had a blast, and it was all done for a very reasonable price!

Had a quiet lunch of chef special fish pie and honey glazed carrots and steamed savoy cabbages. Delicious and a large portion, but rightly matched with price. Worth for the chunks of cod/haddock, salmon and prawns found in the pie. Lovely gin and tonic. The best part was the amazing chef made experimental gorgeous chilli sauce. He needs to bottle it and sell it. It was kickass. Yes, I like even my fish pie or steamed cabbages with bit of heat and was this a treat.

A beautiful, classic country pub! The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food was sublime. Cannot recommend enough! In fact I might go back tomorrow to try another of the chefs dishes! *update* I went back for dinner that evening and had the Antipasti and Lamb Rump witch were both delicious! Then on the Friday evening I took a friend and we had a lovely evening.

Went today when visiting our Son who is currently at RAF Halton, what a fantastic little hem. The food which was all home made and was delicious. The host and waitress were very welcoming, will definitely be revisiting when we are next down there.

Popped in for lunch for the first time having passed by on the main road for many years. Great find. Busy Friday lunchtime. Food was very good. I don't think any more expensive than comparative places. No delays despite being busy. Well worth turn off for. Will certainly be back

First visit to this lovely country pub - very dog friendly and the food was great. We had the fish and chips and lamb shank and would recommend both. Will definitely visit again

Superb beef roast dinner! The best I've had in ages! In fact, I had stopped going out for roasts as they were not great in other places but this place has restored my appetite for them. Beef was medium and we'll seasoned, veg cooed perfectly, spuds were a bit pale but tasty and good texture. Glad I had my gravy on the side as I hate soggy roasts. Lovely bar setting is bustling buy not loud. Clean throughout, roaring log fire and gorgeous dogs (exceptionally well behaved) to stroke if you are inclined.

Great food, excellent service, lovely clean venue. Only slight problem was very limited vegetarian options. But definitely would eat there again when in the area.

Had a lovely meal at the Bell. Three diners all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and desserts. Very comfortable dining room and cosy bar. Highly recommended.

Probably the best gluten free fish and chips I've had. Very helpful and attentive staff catered for two gluten free and one veggie with lactose intolerance. 95% of the menu is or can be adapted to be gluten free. Will definitely go back again.

Delightful pub in lovely village surprisingly near to the main Aylesbury to Buckingham road, yet set in a very pretty village. Very friendly staff, recent change of ownership we understand. Clearly off to a great start, with superb chef. Stunning food. Definitely will return

The lasagne I had was delicious, with salad and garlic bread. I was too full to have a big dessert,so had rum and raisin ice-cream. The staff are very friendly as well. I thoughly recommend it for Saturday lunch.

Lovely little pub. The pork belly is just heaven, and they have a great selection of things on tap. Dog friendly and the staff are always lovely. My favourite pub to end up at after a long walk across the fields.
